Don’t use this place we had a transit van full of clean alloy and he said we’d get a good price we went on the weigh bridge then unloaded then back on the weigh bridge Then he gave us £80 pound said it was all it was worth I know it was worth at least £200 go to st James mill road at least they are honest

I requested collection on my scrap metal I think I spoke to the owner Tony he was very pleasant he sent some of his workers round to collect it and as I am disabled they loaded it for me and transferred the funds in to my account couldn't have asked for any more highly recommend this company

Good prices. No complaints yet. Just been in today. I will wait my money in my account to see.

Avoid at all costs, an old,grumpy discriminator behind the till shouting at exempt people to put their face mask on, 3 times I've repeated I'm exempt but this old bloke seems to be deaf and possible lack of oxygen and CO2 increase caused his brain to malfunction. I'm wondering who gave him the authority to force other people to wear a medical device and to behave like this towards customers, I won't visit this place anymore ..i..

Never again! They can't even add two figures on a calculator proerly. And the scale probably doesn't work right.

They try to RIP YOU OFF, THEY TRY TO SCAM YOU, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they told me to load all the copper on the scale and then made me take it off ‘as the last persons weight was still on the scale’ he then tried resetting the scale while I had roughly 15kg of copper left on it, I’ve been taking bright wire to the scrappy for over a decade and I know the crack, I questioned him about it and he jumped straight on the defensive and told me to come round into the office to show me the weight, I don’t think he expected me to come straight round into the office as he wouldn’t show me the scale. I told him I know what’s roughly there anyway, they tried to tell me I had 23kg in copper! I took it to EMR round the corner and they weighed it in at 37kg. They make out they’ll give you a good price but then scam you by trying to give you less weight.

Phoned Tony on a Wednesday picked 7 Tonnes of steel on Friday and money on the bank 2 hours after collection, exceptional service throughout.
