Lovely food at reasonable prices. Great environment even when busy as it was on a Friday lunchtime. Also accommodating and approachable front of house team (waiting and bar). Recommend booking to guarantee a table.

Went with a friend for my birthday. It’s a stunning place. When we arrived there was no one in the reception area. We waited a long time before someone turned up. The restaurant was freezing! After lunch we asked for coffee in a different room and we’re taken through to the bar area which was again freezing. When we went to pay, again no one at reception. Two other customers with a small child had been waiting for ages. My friend eventually went to find someone who then presented us with someone else’s bill…twice! Very very poor and such a shame as this all put us off going again.

The staff were friendly and polite, service was a bit slow probably due to not enough staff. Most of my table (6) had Sunday roast which was fine, not exceptional. There was a large family birthday celebration in the room we were in which made you feel that you were gatecrashing. The acoustics are very poor so the room was very noisy.

Had lunch with a friend. The site is amazing. The entrance to the bar area is very tasteful. It has managed to keep a lot of the features from the original Sir James Black conference room. There are plenty of tables in the annexe and outside. The food is excellent, and the service is also great. I really enjoy going there. Also had a little wander around around part of the grounds.

Here for a funeral wake. A lovely location that emits quality and raises expectations. It doesn't disappoint. I shall return and look forward to dining in the main restaurant.

A lovely renovated old building. I guess previously a chapel/church in the grounds of Alderley Park. Lovely walks to take your dog on around here and, you can take your dogs in to the bar area with you if you want a meal/drink. The staff are lovely, helpful and chatty. The food was delicious too all at a reasonable price. An overall really pleasant experience.

Very good experience. Off the beaten track and unexpected. In what appears to be a private gated park. Good easy safe parking. Well worth a drive to find the place. Very well appointed, beautifully renovated and preserved. Friendly welcome and comfortable restaurant/bar area. Big roaring fire. Not expensive for a interesting varied menu. Nice wine list. Mid week special deal for oldies! Popular with people who are lucky enough to live in the park nearby, some walking their dogs. Best Sticky Beef Salad I have ever had. Hot Camembert to share as starter. Lovely Provence Rose by the glass or bottle.Very warm and cosy place inside, with outside areas for summer. Back soon I think!

Excellent, fantastic with kids, wife says its one of best pub meals she has been abke to enjoy with all her allergies.They gave us an ice pack for our child who bumped her head on a walk around the woods prior to showing up.Been here after work before, the bar is very nice, good selection of beers.

Lovely brunch spot.What an amazing setting with beautiful decor and furniture. It was pretty chilly outside so didn’t get to sit outside but whilst working at Alderley Park this was an excellent spot to grab a bite to eat and get some work done.Really friendly staff and great wifi.

The Churchill Tree
Had a lovely lunch meal at the Churchill Tree, a few weeks ago. Friendly staff and tasty food, served quickly and they came back to check if our food was ok. We were so pleased, we plan to take our Yorkshire visitors there next week, for lunch.
