UK Storage Telford

A very disappointing experience with this company. We decided to store with UK Storage Company and received a 50% discount on our first 8 weeks storage. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to extend our storage time. I contacted the office to find out the increase in price going forward. On this call I was told the company price match with other facilities in the local area. I called round for other prices and found UK Storage Company to be over £100 per 4 weeks more expensive. (Once you’re out of the 8 week offer). I made contact with the companies managers and told them I had these quotes, I’m disappointed to learn that in fact, they don’t price match for existing customers. They simply refused to price match going forward and told us the only way to bring the price down would be to leave site for a 7 day period, then join back with them to receive the introductory offer again. They refused to see the inconvenience and expense this would cause. You’d have thought to keep your business and to provide a good service, they’d at least agree to match the price of other providers. (The cost of other providers was still cheaper, even when renting a larger SQFT unit) overall I’m very disappointed with how UK Storage Company have dealt with this and would not be recommending them in the future. It seems they are willing to engage with new customers, but fail to treat existing customers fairly. It is worth your time to research how their prices compare to others once you’re out of the 8 week offer!

Excellent facility, easily booked and accessed for storing items.Administratively efficient too, prompt refund when the storage was no longer required.Use, strongly recommended.

Never been to one of theses storage places before,and was I impressed,all beautifully clean and tidy, codes to get you in and trollies to help you get all your things to your room 3 keys also given, it's all in and safe and sound, very impressed.

All good, booking online was simplicity itself and I was storing stuff same day. Unmanned building was no problem at all although I was a bit skeptical at first, entering the building and unit was a smooth and secure process. Everywhere was spotless and covid safe. Terminating my contract was no problem either, would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

I used two units at the Telford site while in the process of moving house. The facility is great. It's clean and well maintained. When I did have an issue accessing the site using the keypad, a quick call to the call centre had it sorted in a matter of minutes. Great service.

Very easy and simple to use, every one has been very pleasant no hassle at all.

Recommended.The registration process is simple and you can 'move in' without even needing to speak to another human (exactly what some of us prefer!).The building is well situated and easily accessed. Heavy duty trollies are provided and there's a freight elevator as you go in. Everything is clean and well lit, and there are security cameras everywhere.I was tempted to remove one star because the unit I rent was supposed to be 45sqft but is only 41.5; that's within the +/-10% tolerance detailed in the small print so I'll give them that, but I can't help feeling cynical (e.g. if the largest 240sqft units are 10% smaller than advertised they'll have room for the same number of additional small 20sqft units).

Excellent storage facility, accessible when ever you want at your own leisure. First floor unit but no problem with the use of large trolleys and a large lift and with no staff offices in the building there's no need to worry about the noise opening and closing the lift gate and door.

Well maintained place, clean and easy accessible. Few simple, but smart solutions (i.e. entrance code, troleys, lift, cameras). Self-serviced storage eiminates necessity of having it staffed but at the same time with lovely and easily reachable cusstomer service, which on the other hand reduces cost of storaging for customers. I needed it only for quick house move but highly recommend the place. Great communication and quick email response/confirmation of any action needed.

I only wanted an idea of price and now they are harassing me. Avoid giving them your contact details or they will continuously try to contact you
