great food, friendly staff, bit out the way but if you are driving a van or truck great place to stop. plenty of roadside parking, recommend, well worth a visit, this is the old Wilmington train station and has lots of old railway related photos Ect and close to the old Wilmington railway bridge that may also be of interest

First time here after seeing reviews and just around the corner from home and work. Had jacket potato with beans and cheese which came with salad. Delicious.Small Cafe. Great prices for big portions. Friendly staff. Will definately be back

Recently refurbished, friendly warm welcome from the girls that work there. The food is homemade and so tasty. Breakfasts are a must.The sausage rolls, scotch eggs are amazing the cakes and cookies are yummy. Highly recommend with cheap prices too.

The Wilmington cafe is an excellent cafe in the old Wilmington station waiting room on the site of the old hull to Withernsea railway. It's a proper working man's café. The food is excellent from hot sandwiches to a full English breakfast. There is a good choice of food on the extensive menu. A cosy cafe with a wood-burning stove, old photos of the railway and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing service, delicious food, & warm atmosphere. As a bonus, I accidentally left my rucksack and walked miles away before realising it. The staff were incredibly helpful and had my rucksack waiting for me. Thanks so much!

I went for brunch with my wife this morning. The cafe is situated in the old waiting room at the old Wilmington train depot in hull. For maps put in Foster street/ Cleveland Street. On entry on the left are some old pictures of how things used to be . Fascinating. My father used to work in the signal box for the railways there. The interior is very rustic. We had a medium and a large breakfast which was fresh cooked and served very quickly. It was hot and tasty and came with plenty of toast. Tea or coffee is included. Total price was just under 13 quid. The staff are very friendly and we was made to feel very welcome. This to me is a transport cafe but in the top league. No frills or fancies just good old fashioned grub at a very reasonable price with excellent staff.
