Lovely experience hosting my child’s 4th birthday. John was really helpful. We all had a wonderful day. Will be sure to recommend and book again.

Friendly and welcoming liberal church in the centre of Maidenhead. I love the interior of this ex-Church of England building with its balconies and stained glass windows. Proper pipe organ, grand piano, music group/keyboard some services, choir at others (Methodists enjoy a hearty sing!). Choice of hymn books or overhead screen. Hearing aid loop. Wonderful atmospheric lighting at key services such as the carol concert.Optional Junior Church for children runs during part of the main 10:30a.m. service - all start in the main church then depart for room next door after the welcome and opening hymn (sometimes after a short talk - aimed at the children, but enjoyed by all!). Crèche room available for parents and toddlers/babies with the service sound relayed to it - contains an impressive array of toys for the children and books for the adults, but little used in practice because babies and children are very welcome in the main church. You are equally likely to hear an ordained minister/vicar, or one of our several trained Methodist lay preachers within the circuit of churches (a proud tradition of male and female speakers going back right to the organisation's eighteenth century roots).Tea/coffee/biscuits/chat available after the service (donations to charity appreciated).Smaller, shorter 9 a.m. communion service available about twice a month - see website for dates, likewise for info on the many midweek groups including Guides, Scouts, coffee mornings, craft sessions, babies & toddlers Tuesdays and other groups using the premises. Also available for weddings, blessings, baptisms (adult or child), funerals/services of remembrance, Thanksgiving services...

Nice church, went for cream tea, not many turned up but it was nice. Lovely people who prepared all the food and served it.

We hired the main hall for my daughter's birthday and it was lovely. We had such a great time. All the facilities were clean, special thanks to John, the administrator who helped us with everything we needed, good communication, friendly and professional. We definitely recommend it and hope to be back again. Thank you!
