A little gem to seek out ,Jo and the staff are fabulous and some great limited edition books in there. No request is too much ,definitely worth a visit !!!!Visit after visit it just gets better !!!It's moving shortly to a new ground floor location but expect the usual fantastic service !!The new location is fantastic, even more to see !! Well done Jo and Chris !!Each time I visit Jo and Chris excel themselves in managing to acquire whatever my request is , superb level of service !!!!

I Finally visited this gem of a bookshop today after months of meaning to! They have everything you could possibly want including a fantastic children's section in which I was able to get some lovely books for Christmas. I'm looking forward to a longer look around when I have a bit more free time. They do a great job of supporting local schools too and the staff are lovely. Don't hesitate to visit!

Always a pleasant experience dropping in here! They have a wide and unusual selection of books and will always have something perfect to gift to avid readers. Even better than the selection is the warm welcome and knowledge of books available from the owners. Highly recommend!

Was bemoaning the lack of a bookshop in the newtownabbey area, when a few days later I stumbled upon the secret bookshelf.....what a wee gem this is.....not just any bookshop but an independent one in such a quirky little courtyard.Run by a lovely couple who wereknowledgeable,friendly and welcoming. Wide selection and a separate little room of children's books.Good selection of gifts.There were some books wrapped in brown paper with just the genre written on the front....a blind date with a book...£6 I think.Well worth a visit.

A cosy bookshop run by friendly, helpful staff. A good range of sci-fi, crime and fantasy books as well as historical, sports and biography. Lots of books for children too.
