David has been truly fantastic on my property purchase. He made the deal happen through a very complex process of removal of a CCJ (which had been made in error by the courts) and then a Statutory Lease Extension (SLE) which was then required to secure a mortgage. His good humour, deep knowledge of how these things work and regular communication kept both the seller and myself updated and engaged. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Estate agents do not have a good reputation generally and we have experienced this on a couple of occasions. However, this most definitely cannot be said of David Rogers and his team. His response to our request that Martin & Co sell our property was positive, informed, generous in time given and attention, personal, professional and enthusiastic. Within days of putting us on the market, viewings began and a suitable offer was negotiated. His attention of every detail of the transaction and his personal concern for us as people as well as clients made the whole process much less stressful than can be the case. Both David and Andrea were excellent in providing support during the purchase of my property. David was quick to respond to any queries i had, as well as chasing up solicitors involved in this transaction.Andrea, helped sort out a rent agreement for me, whilst we dealt with a longer than usual sales process.I highly recommend them both, I am pretty sure i would not have completed this transaction without their help and expertise!

We had a fantastic experience with Martin & Co in Tunbridge Wells. We were impressed by their reasonable rates, quick responses and the efforts which they went to in marketing our property – the 360 degree photo tour which they created was fantastic. A huge bonus for us is that Martin & Co don’t try to sell financial products, which means that their only motivation is to sell the property to the best buyer. If i was to have posted this review at the beginning of our tenancy, the rating would be significantly higher. Unfortunately, during the end of our tenancy Tunbridge Wells Martin & Co have been absolutely awful. By law, if the landlord/agent is not renewing your tenancy, you must have written confirmation of this, which we never received, but we’re hassled to send our own email confirming we were moving out. There onwards, communication was sparse- with it taking up to a week to get a response, or at least follow up emails. No communication regarding viewings of the property, telling you the night before that there is a viewing and then no response to emails when you inform them this is not okay. They only contact you when THEY want something, never if you do. Multiple pre-existing issues with the property were promised to be resolved shortly after moving in- however were never fixed and are now being blamed on us, upon moving out. Zero regard for your personal situation, or what is suitable for you, forgetting people work full time and cannot be available to drop things off/take calls whenever Martin and Co want. Hugely upset with my final experiences with this agent, i would not recommend them due to their inconsiderate moving out/end of tenancy process.

We had a great experience renting through Martin & Co. Stephanie really helped smooth things over when we were moving at quite a difficult time. She was incredibly considerate and kind at a stressful time. Thanks very much Stephanie!

I purchased our flat via Martins as I saw it on Rightmove. We saw around 10 properties. David is the least pushy and one of the most reasonable estate agents we’ve come across. If we ever sell it we will go to Martins. Won’t put here the long list of TW estate agents we wouldn’t go to!!!!
