Poynton Park
Poynton Park is a lovely place for a good walk around and to explore. It is very popular with the locals and visitors as well. It is also a great place for those who have dogs as well as there is plenty of open spaces for the dogs to run free & be happy.

Poynton Park
Great size park with sheep all over it roaming free. Bonfire night is always good here and I believe fishing is good. You see plenty of rabbits and other animals. Would recommend for a short dog walk as it's laid out very well and is easy to follow. Plenty of bins aswell and benches

Cheshire East are planming to cut down 80 trees ...look up preserve poynton pool and help us prevent the cutting down of these wonderful trees

Poynton Park
This time we were there for the bonfire night, which was great by the way. Tremendous place to have a walk or relax on a picnic. Loved this place during covid.

Very nice park with a large pool and interesting waterfowl; just a shame about the close proximity of the main road. Roll-on the bypass may be a little quieter then! Water Rail spotted twice in recent visits which is good for such a secretive bird!

Poynton Park
A good rugged walk around the pool and beyond. Easily do 6 miles, road and field walking, farm views. Big loop walk on maps, easy incline. Take your walking boots very muddy through the fields at the back! You can see sheep, horses, ducks. Beautiful countryside

This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it.The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around.Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!
