It's a nice focal point for the promenade and is surrounded by useful facilities such as public toilets and an eaterie. However at present the time on the clock is incorrect.

The clock tower is amazing...it combines the structural excellence of a tower with the time keeping brilliance of a clock. Although the time was wrong.

Superb day out by the sea, have to say in the three hours we. We're there the amount of people that went past all respected everybody else's space only down side if any was very few shops open.

Good focal point for mid Prom. Ice-cream shop and cafe, public toilets, bicycle stands, access to beach, adventure playground, coffee shops, crossing to town centre.
