Church of St Michael and All Angels, Llanvihangel-Ystern-Llewern

My son Jeffrey Alan Elliott and I visited the church on Sunday 11th May 2024 where my 5 times and Jeffrey’s six times great grandfather the Rev Theophilus Thomas 1710-1796 was vicar for 52 years. Succeeded by his nephew Rev Roger Thomas. It was a very moving experience and the tranquility of its position makes it even more so. I am in my 81st year and my son is in his 46th year and we are grateful for the opportunity to see inside the church. With thanks in spiritual brotherhood. E.A.Elliott
