Wilmington Brasserie
I had Sunday lunch at this charming restuarant and hotel with a group of friends. The weather was good, so we sat outside in the lovely garden area. The service was great and the food came quickly. Restaurant roasts can be a bit hit and miss but mine was perfectly cooked, and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. It was good value for money too, in fact I would have happily paid more for this quality of food.

We went on a weekday early October and had a lovely meal. Great host and an excellent chef. The bar area is relaxing and homely, and the restaurant is cosy. The food was wonderfully prepared and really delicious. It's definitely worth a visit, we weren't disappointed.

As a local resident and a fussy foodie, I have been intreagued to see what the new owners and their chef Dan would produce! I have had two excellent meals there recently and they were really excellent! In fact my home made steak and ale pie was absolutely the best I have had in my life!! I can’t wait for this chef’s creative spirit to blossom and to sample more delights…
