Aberdeen Whisky Shop

I have had a read of the negative reviews today and find they are quite funny considering the experience I have had. Must be a different shop accidently reviewed here. As they are totally inconsistent with my experience.I was passing a few days back and went in to have a browse with no real intention of necessarily buying anything.The woman who was behind the counter currently pregnant but very knowledgeable about products still and able to talk me through what they had. The second staff member gave me some samples and also talked through things.I agree a bigger shop will do them well. But the range of things they have is impressive. I would not go there to by a mainstream bulk bottling but mull over choices of different things you might not see every day.The only real downside I have is. I'm on holiday from Australia and they don't ship there, for the range of unique and interesting things this would be great!

The Aberdeen Whiskey Shop is a great place with a fantastic selection of Spirits. The owner Nick is very knowledgeable and passionate about his whiskey. The shop stocks a wide variety of drinks like Vodka, Gin, Liqueurs, Moonshine and obviously Whiskey. Prices are always the best and if you need some special or rare bottle then just speak to the owner and he will try his best to get it. Excellent service whenever I visit.

My friend and I didn’t have time to do all the distillery tours, so we opted to do a tasting experience in Aberdeen. Sophia is very knowledgeable and the loveliest host! The other staff were also amazing. The venue has a nice atmosphere and there was a great selection of whiskies. I’m so glad we went!

Bought several bottles from this shop in the past. Friendly and helpful staff, knowledge about the subject and what they have in stock. Always left satisfied.Recently moved and impressed by the layout and clean design of the new shop.They also do whisky tasting, which I would recommend due to knowledgeable staff and impressive selection, along with elegant customised glasses/presentation which showed off the whisky beautifully.

Just had a great time visiting one of the whisky tasting events. Great whisky and great fun. Lovely store. Seeing as I visit Aberdeen every year, I expect to visit again.

Outstanding establishment 5 stars everytime I visit. Delightful owners with an encyclopedia knowledge of the whiskey world. Recently attended a whiskey and gin tasting with my family, fantastic afternoon, a must do if you are visiting Aberdeen

Great whisky @ great prices, great shopkeeper, great staff and fast shipping. Bought several bottles at the shop, and have never been dissapointed.
