My first time at zoe's today what a fantastic hairdressers, the best style I have had for a very long time plus an added bonus of getting my eyebrows waxed. It was such a friendly inviting place, zoe and Becky were great. At Last have found my hairdressers that will be my regular.

Becky does my hair and is brilliant. Lovely environment and veryy friendly. Poeple are always in having make up done and it looks great.

I haven't been to Zoe's for a few years, but wasn't disappointed.Everyone is still friendly, the salon is immaculate and welcoming and I was very pleased with my finished hairstyle.I have no hesitation in recommending the salon and have booked my return visit.

After having long hair for 10 years, I was given a lovely new style and cut to which I'm extremely happy with, I can't fault them, they are always so friendly and the service is 110% perfect.

I am so very sad to be writing this review today.After coming here for 3 straight years in which I never had a single issue, I feel incredibly hurt and upset over the way myself and friends have been treated in recent weeks.I used to love visiting this salon. I have always had a great level of respect and admiration for the ladies here.However, very recently, I am saddened to say, that their recent actions have made me go elsewhere.I attended a hair trial here a few weeks ago for a wedding that I am attending alongside the bride and the rest of her bridal party. Unfortunatley, the trial just didn't work for the majority of us as the brides hair fell out after 2 hours and the makeup just wasn't going to work for her personally. And with this being the entire purpose of a TRIAL, the bride cancelled and found somewhere else for us to go. She did this in a polite manner and thanked Zoe's for their service and friendliness.However, shockingly, Zoe's took this incredibly personally. And seemed to be more than offended at the brides choice, saying things that caused the bride alot of stress and upset during an already stressful time. Zoe very often reminded the bride about another wedding party she had missed out on to see us instead for 'ridiculous prices' and also tried to get the money we would have paid ON the wedding day if we had attended. We had paid for what we had done during the trial. However, the bride cancelled with 2 months notice before her actual wedding day. Not within a much closer time frame. And so, this was out of order.Despite all of this, I was going to continue going there for my regular hair and brow appointments as I was very content as well as a nail appointment I had booked in for a birthday treat. I needed to rearrange my nail appointment however due to unforseen money issues. However, when I called, I was very rudely told that they had already cancelled my appointment due to 'everything with the wedding' and they had done this without letting me know previously. If I had not of called on that day, I would have gone on the date booked and not been seen. The phone was then put down on me before I had much time to question this further. When I called Zoe back to get some reasoning for this, she very quickly changed what she had previously said, telling me that she hadn't said she cancelled on me at all but that they were expecting me to call and cancel as I 'cancelled alot recently'. I am a disabled women who sometimes needs to rearrange my appointments due to health. However, I have never changed an appointment on the same day or missed or been late for a booked appointment in 3 entire years. But I degress.Zoe was very rude on the call as she was when the bride cancelled with her also, that time even talking with the other hairdressers there where the bride could hear EVERYTHING she said.Zoe then also decided to cancel another lady in the bridal party who was STILL going there for her wedding hair and makeup due to being very pleased with her results. All just because some of us were not happy with the less than adequate results (hair falling out, makeup irritations on the bride and wrong colour matches etc) This ofcourse, was very upsetting yet again and was more than unnecessary due to that bridesmaid wanting to go back there.After so many years of coming here and admiring these women, I am hurt. And like I tried to calmly explain to Zoe, you cannot take things that personally when you have a business. And you need to treat customers with the same level of respect that they treat you with. However to this, she abruptly put the phone down on me.These women are amazing hairdressers and honestly, wonderful people as long as you don't give them constructive criticism it seems. The moment you do that, or even just the moment you respectfully cancel after a trial that just didn't work for you, they turn against you.So future brides, please keep this in mind so that you aren't made to feel belittled for trying to feel beautiful on your special day.
