Recently had the dual-clutch Getrag gearbox in my Mitsubishi Outlander serviced by Autogearbox Repairs in Preston. Their service was first class from start to finish. It was obvious from the get-go that they are knowledgeable and experienced and guided me through the steps they would take to service the unit. Turnaround was fast and both the parts and the labour were very sensibly priced. Based on my experience I can highly recommend these guys. Very pleased.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They charged £3400 to repair a gearbox gave 1 years warranty..the job wasn't done properly from day 1..gearbox completely packed up before warranty ended did a quick fix to get us over the warranty period and didn't want to know!!. Waited 4 weeks to get it repaired for a botch up they did and robbed us of our money. These guys are dishonest and repairing gearbox to get you over the 1 year warranty period! And then telling you nothing they can do!! Honestly please don't waste ur money! The reviews which I checked are al from. Family and friends making them look good!

From first contact to last, every person has been courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I have had every question answered, been kept up to date and engaged in all steps of the strip down and rebuild of my older Honda 3L auto gearbox. The staff’s obvious professionalism and dedication to “getting it right” is really apparent and I would recommend them to anyone seeking a solid no nonsense job for a fair market price.

After having trouble with my Mondeo Auto gearbox this company was recommended to me by the mechanic who looks after my car, from the first contact to collecting my car the service was excellent, everything was explained to me by Neil and his son , very polite and courteous and I was quoted a price and kept updated regularly. Quoted me £3000 to repair my skoda dsg box and I decided not to repair it. I sold it and the new buyer spent £200 on gearbox coding and the car is as new. Definitely wouldn't recommend for gearboxes

Strongly advise to get all terms on paper/email. Unfortunately I made mistake and sort out everything on the phone.First thing quote WITHOUT VAT ( They forgot to mention about it on the phone ) , second thing warranty - on the phone I was told 10.000 miles warranty but when I signed papers I find out its 10.000miles OR 1 YEAR. For me that was huge diffrence becouse I'm doing 2-3k per year.Third and finall - exactly 14 months after they repair my gearbox start failing again and unfortunately it was after warranty.3500 pounds went to toilet.Never again

Reconditioned our gearbox on our 2017 Ford Galaxy. Expensive job on these cars but amazing service and very knowledgeable guys, they know there stuff, honest from the start and kept us updated throughout, did a brilliant job.
