We can highly recommend Simon at YES! Dog Behaviour. He helped us so much with calming and training our new rescue dog, Coco, who was hyper, anxious and quite a handful. Simon first came to our house and gave us tips as to how to handle Coco’s barking at visitors. This worked almost straight away. Simon is patient and understanding and his training has had a very positive effect on Coco. He’s a natural with animals and Coco loves him. We then attended Simon’s FUN utility sessions every Sunday which helped Coco a lot with her confidence in general and with people and other dogs. She loves it. Hoping these sessions will start again soon. Thanks so much Simon!

Simon is a great trainer, we have made huge progress with our young puppy in just 2 sessions. Very knowledgeable and able to address any behaviour issues that arise. Even outside the training sessions he responds to any questions or advice we may need. I would highly recommend!

Simon is brilliant! His calm, professional manner put your mind at ease and he gives you the confidence you need to work with your puppy. He has been incredibly helpful even if the few sessions we've had so far. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I cannot thank Simon enough. He was the first behaviourist we did not feel judged by when struggling with some of our working cocker spaniel’s behaviours. Simon loves dogs! Luckily he also has a warm, easy manner and is equally good at communicating with people.He has helped me feel confident and more positive about our challenging adolescent terrier, and given hope after each session of our one to one personal training. We learn something different each week, but Simon is also consistent in finding creative ways with which to teach techniques that suit us. He is skilled and patient and offers great value - thanks Simon - we’re getting somewhere!

Simon came to do 5 sessions with us and our new Standard Poodle puppy Poppy when we stayed at Lower Mill in July 2020. Within 1 session she was sleeping on her own at night, by session 2 we had pretty much nailed house training, and by session 3 her recall had improved enough to enable us to take her off the lead for a run around every now and then. Most importantly he taught our 7 year old how to create a better relationship with the puppy to avoid being treated as a littermate by her!We are so grateful and thank you so much for being fantastic Simon!

Simon is a fantastic trainer. Extremely knowledgeable, calm,kind and supportive. He has shown us great techniques to help with our dogs attention seeking behaviour and made us see the light at the end of the tunnel!We would highly reccomend him.

We contacted Simon for help with our new retired racing greyhound. I found his website on Google. Our greyhound came to us straight from having lived her whole 7 years in kennels so everything was very new and confusing to her and she was timid and nervous of most things. But above all we needed her to be able to join us and our first greyhound upstairs for sleeping. Retired racers have never tackled stairs before so it’s a very scary challenge for them. Simon was wonderful. As soon as we chatted on the phone he was thinking of ways to help us. He arrived promptly, armed with a very important box of small pieces of cheddar cheese! Clare our hound was very timid at first but after about 20 minutes Simon had her eating the cheese from his hand. We then tackled some outside steps with the help of our first hound Alfie. And then brought the same approach inside. We were thrilled when Clare was able to get up and down the stairs with the guidance from Simon. Simon’s calm and matter-of-fact manner, plus cheese, was the perfect approach. He then went on to help my husband with how to deal with Clare being very wary of him. All in all, it took less than two hours to achieve our goal and we know we couldn’t have done it without Simon. Thank you very much Simon, we highly recommend your services - such great value for our money too!!
