The Station Hotel
It was just OK. Located close to tram stop it was a good cheap alternative for an overnight stay on a night out in Notts.Room size was massive and warm. I chose shared bathroom. Cleanliness was mediocre but bare able. Carpets, doors and deco are tired and old, needs a good spruce up. I've stayed in cheaper with better quality stair carpets. I've given it 3 stars, it's okay, you'll sleep okay, bedding clean, nice mattress. Could just do with some money spent on it. It's got great potential really, good old roomy victorian building.

My band was due to play there and was booked months before the gig .we phoned three days before the gig to be told you been cancel we forgot to tell you. We have been told it’s a horrible venue and they do this regular. The person who answered the phone was pig ignorant .Iv been living in Hucknall over 50 years and have told all their regulars about this and they all say it’s disgusting .Keep away from this pub .

Nice decor. Really warm and welcoming. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the bar. Great selection of Lincoln Green beers on tap. Excellent venue. Recently revisited, excellent range of beers Majesty from Castle Rock was an excellent full flavoured beer. Still an excellent range of beers and now has a loyalty program for discounts on food and drink. No change after a revisit.

Food was worth the wait. The service of the staff was good. We were given extra time to decide what meals we all wanted. I found the coffee too strong for my tastes as did another member of the group. All in all an enjoyable experience

Brilliant pub had drinks there many times but only tried the food last night and its some of the best pub food we have ever had honestly also the staff are great all of them are very friendly can't knock the station hotel one bit

I visited today with my mum and partner for a vegan Sunday dinner, and have been teetering between giving 1 or 2 stars, as I mulled on the experience on my drive home. But frankly I’m so disappointed in the experience it just doesn’t deserve 2 stars.The staff were friendly but the service really was poor. I asked for 1/2 pint of Coke, was given a pint of Diet Coke, and when I queried if it was in fact Coke, I was then told they only serve diet?My vegetarian boyfriend ordered the vegan burger and asked to swap for normal cheese and to swap out the sauce. When it arrived with thought it might’ve just been really quality vegan alternatives, but he had actually been given real meat!They returned several minutes later with a vegan burger, with vegan cheese, we didn’t feel like complaining again!The ‘bacon’ also seemed to be the ‘roulade’ just thinly sliced.Our vegan dinners were quite horrible to be honest, the only good part was the roast potatoes and the stuffing. We were unimpressed with the mushy roulade and the Yorkshire pudding was abysmal. It was cold and like no other vegan yorkie I’ve ever had before.The staff didn’t charge us for the burger in the end, due to their mistake. But I am still unhappy with the amount of money I spent on the rest of the food, since the whole experience was horrible. And I’m still hungry!We were disappointed as we’d heard good reviews about the vegan dinner and driven out specifically to have the yorkshires!

Very friendly staff. Even though the rooms are above a pub we didn't notice any excessive noise on either Saturday or Sunday night. In the pub was a bar area, a lounge area and a games room (shown in the photo) fully stocked with lots of board games and skittles. Food was available with roast on Sundays.
