Safestore Self Storage Gateshead

Rented a unit to bridge a gap between homes. Can't fault the Gateshead branch. From ordering, filling the unit, a few back and forth to add/remove items, emptying the unit and closing the account. The whole experience was easy and painless. The lift was always functional and there were always trolley and pallet trucks available. Martin and the guys were fab. Highly recommended if you need storage!

This is a great location, the staff are lovely and help take some of the stress out of moving if you need temporary storage. As a woman, I felt perfectly safe using Safestore, there are cameras everywhere and the office is staffed. The half price storage, for 8 weeks, is ideal and gives you breathing space to take your time unpacking in your new home.

Good rates. Safe and secure storage. Everything explained clearly. Perfect for my needs for storing during a house move. 3 bed house stored in 125sq ft. Minus beds, mattresses, table and some cupboards.

What brilliant staff in this safestore! They are mint and so helpful. They've got a great sense of humour and are very relaxed. They were great with the booking process and very honest too. Really appreciated their help in a stressful time moving houses.

You may look at the prices here and wonder why they're so much higher. There's a reason. You're able to reserve a unit and know it'll be there when you need it, you get fantastic service from some amazing folks (shout-out to Ryan for making my check in seamless!) and you also get support if you need a smaller or bigger unit the moment you arrive. I tested all these scenarios and can assure anyone that genuinely, the service is worth the price. Also trolleys at the location make moving stuff between car and unit easier!Only negative I can see (and it's really workable) is that the unit has opening hours and isn't 24/7. But somehow that does feel quite safe knowing people are only coming in when someone's definitely watching cameras and there to intervene!

Used the Team Valley facility. Good price, clean safe indoor storage and friendly helpful staff. Would certainly recommend / use again.
