Study Inn Triumph House Nottingham

Triumph House has lots of great features however there are some major downfalls that this accommodation has. Firstly, the poor design of this building means that the whole building is so hot, all year round but especially in the spring/summer (there are no windows or air con). The shared kitchens are disgustingly hot, with some not having any windows, that they become unusable and the building has no air ventilation whatsoever. All we have been offered are solar panels put on the outside of the windows to 'reflect the sun' but we need ventilation!! Secondly, for a student accommodation, we are not allowed to play/listen to music past 8pm without being told off which isn't great for students who like to go out.Don't get me wrong, the staff/security are always pleasant and lovely and try to help where they can but I feel a lot more could be done to improve the overall experience.Student life is about being independent but I feel like here, we are constantly watched and monitored and can't enjoy the student experience like we should.

Accommodation is very god no dout about that. But big problem is there is no shops and restaurants around.

It’s a really good place, super fancy, had a gym and sauna. Has a basketball court and some pool tables and mini football. It’s a very clean environment and the staff are very very friendly. They are one of the staff members i ever encountered. The rooms are really neat and it definitely fits 1 person no matter their height.

Great place with lots of bonus features, including a gym, sauna, and a grand piano. Staff could not have been more efficient and friendly.

While Triumph House is one of the most expensive accommodations in Nottingham, I regret to highlight a few persistent issues that have affected my overall experience. It is my sincere hope that these concerns are taken into consideration for the benefit of future residents.One of the primary challenges I have encountered is the excessive heat within the premises. In particular, the kitchens are incredibly hot, making it uncomfortable to prepare meals. The lack of adequate ventilation exacerbates the situation, resulting in an almost sauna-like environment. Even during colder months, the limited window openings in the bedrooms restrict airflow, leading to discomfort and excessive perspiration.Furthermore, the gym facilities consistently suffer from poor ventilation and lack of air conditioning. This has resulted in an unpleasant odor that persists, negatively impacting the overall experience for residents. Despite repeated complaints from numerous individuals, it is disheartening that the administration has not taken any substantive actions to address these issues. The proposed solution of fitting solar panels on the windows, unfortunately, does not contribute to resolving the heat and ventilation concerns in any meaningful way.Considering these ongoing challenges, I would caution prospective residents to carefully evaluate their options before choosing Triumph House as their accommodation.
