We were searching for a unique statement piece for our kitchen island worktop, and Elephant Timber Supplies provided just that. Costa has made for us a beautiful island Elm worktop. I visited the workshop where Costa showed me around the different types of timber slabs they had available and recommended that I go with a book-matched pair of Elm slabs. From speaking to him, it was clear that he has extensive knowledge of woodworking and is very passionate. I was shown around the different projects they had going on which gave me an idea of their craftsmanship. He also explained to me the different stages of the project. Costa also sent pictures of the different stages of the worktop throughout the process which was very nice. A couple of weeks later, Costa made for us an amazing piece. When the worktop arrived, it was absolutely beautiful. You can tell from the finished product that the craftsmanship is to a very high level. For anyone looking for a bespoke worktop or dining table, I cannot recommend Elephant Timber Supplies enough. The prices also are very reasonable for something that is a 1 of 1 piece. I'll definitely be coming back for our next project.

Fantastic!! Emailed Carl and got a response pretty quick. Went down to view timber and spoke to Costa who was extremely knowledgable and helpful.Nothing was any trouble for him, he removed loads for me until I found the piece I wanted.Costa planes the timber to thickness and cut in half for me.Delivery was sorted and received the next day all wrapped up!!Great service thanks Elephant Timber.

Great experience with Elephant Timber Supplies. Ordered a partly finished slab of oak and was kept up to date with progress regularly.Costa sent photos of the wood at various stages making sure that my requirements were fully understood and met. Have now received the oak and it's exactly as I wanted it to be.All in all a very positive experience.

Great service from start to finish. I found Elephant Timber by searching online and like what I saw. I was initially trying to find a local company but none seemed to offer what Elephant did with such great help and honesty.I had a 3.0 x 1.2m oak table top made with live edges and was kept in the loop from start to finish.The table was wrapped brilliantly and arrived with no damage.I sanded the top down and finished with oil and am so pleased with the results.Would highly recommend Elephant Timber, just try them and you will be pleasantly surprised!

I required a piece of timber for a couple of home projects, and after only moderate search success, I happened on Elephant Timber and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. An excellent website with photos of each piece plus details of sizes, coupled with a decent stock of various species, made it easy to find the piece best suited for me. On close inspection of the website photo one end looked a bit fragile, and as I needed the whole piece, I was put in touch with one of there staff, who had already spotted this problem, and had a great solution which worked perfectly. His customer service and communication have been impeccable, and I was kept up to date in all aspects, every step of the way. I also like the fact that Elephant Timber only sell wood that has been felled for reasons other than just to supply a market, eg ill health
