Littledown Surgery

I moved down to Bournemouth from Hertfordshire and joined this practice in August 2021. I really want to say that this surgery is brilliant, the reception staff, nurses and doctors are consistently lovely, supportive and caring. It’s been a long time since I have across such a welcoming team. Long may it continue.

Honestly brilliant staff, doctors do a great job.. getting a appointment is very hard tho as line is constantly engaged from 8:30 and all appointments are gone by 9.

Having relocated into the area just a year ago, we registered with Littledown Surgery just before the first national lockdown. During the last year, I have found on a number of occasions, everyone I have had contact with, from the helpful receptionists, through the practice nurses and doctors, to be both friendly, efficient and professional, always having time to listen and discuss matters as required.

Had littledown as my doctors surgery 13 years now. Always good. Never disappointed. Especially in these covid times. Went in today. Needed to pick something up. Receptionist was very nice, had to askA bit advice about my pick up, and she was so helpful.

I've never had anything but excellent service at Littledown surgery. Given the chronic underfunding of the NHS, the aftermath of the pandemic, etc., they continue to provide a caring and efficient service. Dr Rogers in particular deserves special mention for her professionalism, kindness, resilience and all round excellent care. The reception staff are always very obliging. During these difficult times, I am so grateful for what this surgery offers.

As I've lived in Bournemouth all my life and had several surgeries over the years, this is by far the best in Bournemouth. Rarely do you get such a 5star service from receptionists, doctors and the nurses. They are all exceptional and go out of their way to help you.

Very good surgery. I can’t rate Dr Carter enough. I’ve never had such a focused and caring appointment before, I felt very listened to and left feeling great - with an actual plan of action. The receptionist staff are also very considerate. 10/10. Thank you.

First of no one can tell what's wrong with the person without taking any urine or blood tests. From my experience there wasn't either tests done for me last year July and the doctor simply guessed what health issues I would have. Doctor simply sent me to get antibiotics.This time urine sample tests carried out -all clean, physical tests carried out which clearly shows what health issue I have ,but I've been told by the doctor from Littledown surgery to have medicine for completely different helth issues. No scanns carried out, another guessing from the doctors. Ordered to get another antibiotics from Boots with a massive side effects that might last for years. Stay clear. Not recommended at all.

Part timers I don't think they give a s*** if you live or die, woefully inadequate, stroppy receptionists,will seek health care elsewhere.

Had to take a very nervous child to see the nurse on Wednesday to have a blood test, I just can’t praise high enough, the nurse, who did this blood test, she was kind gentle, funny, every thing, you would hope a nurse would be with a very nervous patient, but I know from My own experience not all nurses are like this. She is a real, real, credit to your practice. And a huge thank you to her
