Delightful place to stay - the back rooms overlook lovely trees and gardens. The continental breakfast is plentiful and delicious, lovely friendly atmosphere and homely feel. Regular visitor, always happy to stay.

Wonderful stay with Kate very friendly and helpful. Full of advice of where to walk and spend a lovely day around Oxford. Splendid breakfast Wow so much and good selection. Comfortable rooms and beds, no noise. Lovely time we'll spent for our 2 nights. Just close to everything couple mins walk.

Excellent stay at the Acorn Guest House! The Covid friendly easy check in and out is essential. Our room had a nice big bed and updated on suite! The room has a electric tea and coffee table with a little refrigerator. We were so happy that it’s convenient to our daughters place and a quick bus to the city center! We highly suggest The Acorn Guest House and we will return to stay at this lovely guest house! Thank you Jessie

Nice clean guest house, within easy reach of Oxford City Centre. Lovely open and airy room. Would definitely visit again. Recommended.

Acorn Guest House
Location is outside of the city centre, but walking distance into town. There are also busses or around £7 for a taxi.The room I had was facing the road, thus there where some constant traffic noise. I did not have the best of sleep during my three nights. It's simple, but have everything you need.Cleaning could have been slightly better. There where some spots that would have been very easy to clean, but have never been cleaned, like the outlet in the roof.

Basic accommodation, but has everything in the room. Free Wi-Fi included in the rent. Prices slightly better than other guest houses in the area but still Oxford price" - if you know what I mean. Good location within walking distance from Cowley road and city centre. Best feature - very friendly and helpful staff."

Acorn Guest House
A lovely place to stay if you are visiting Oxford. We booked direct by phone and got the last available room, which was classed as their economy room. We loved it and felt very at home there. Being an economy room it didn't have an ensuite bathroom but it was not a problem and it was pointed out to us when we booked.The staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the breakfast. Everything in the guest house was spotlessly clean and fresh looking. We will definitely book there again if we go back to Oxford!

The best place to stay in Oxford. Spotless, friendly, cozy, one of oxfords best gastro pubs opposite and plenty of others under 5 mins walk. 10 minutes steady stroll to the city centre down a tree lined street and then over Magdalen bridge. Very close to the best electric bike store - on Magdalen Rd.

I was initially concerned by the 2 star review posted a year ago, but found the services and personnel without fault.A very helpful and accommodating owner, lovely room with free WiFi and a fantastic breakfast.Would recommend it to anyone.
