Vortex Exhaust

Had vortex exhaust fitted to ford focus, was custom built by Melvin on the spot, arrived at 9.30 and was away by 1.00 the same day. System was made of stainless steel and they give a lifetime warranty. Car runs smoother and gives slightly better mpg. Definitely feels a bit more torque. Have been to them again and had the flexi-joint replaced, again outstanding service and professional work carried out. Would recommend these guys to anyone.

Absolutely amazing customer service from start to finish. I visited Vortex today to have a new back box supplied and fitted, shout out to Melvin who was amazing he talked through the loudness I wanted and the required tip along with answering any other questions I threw at him. Finished job was prefect Melvin talked me through what he had done and the noise was spot on. Thank you Melvin and team I wouldn't recommend anyone else now.

I arrived at Vortex Exhausts today to have a cat back system made for my Kia Proceed GT.I was greeted by the fitter who took my car into the workshop for assessment, after looking the car over my fitter went through my wish list and requirements for the finished item, I had ahead of time asked for black tips for the exhaust which Vortex kindly ordered in for me. Through the whole build up I was asked for my input regarding the sound and position of the exhaust tips.The whole build took just 4 1/2 hours and I left with a huge smile on my face very happy with the work done the welds are neat and tidy.Having run the car back to Surrey on the M25 at varying speeds I can confirm no droning no knocking, the car feels smoother on acceleration with a pleasant note from the rear. Thanks Vortex a good job well done, I would happily recommend you to anyone else who is after a bespoke system made.

Did an amazing exhaust system for my campervan. Full stainless job, lifetime guarantee and their innovative vortex system improves the power a bit as well as the fuel economy.My diesel ran quiter, a little smoother and best of all i don't have to worry about replacing it or it getting a hole in a few years time.Would thoroughly recommend Melvin and the team particularly for any vehicles where you just can't find the original exhaust available in the market and want something quality

I was unsure at first but having spoken to Vortex a couple of times and the fact my focus st exhaust was on its last legs I decided to go ahead with a cat back system. So pleased I did. Fully welded stainless steel from end to end. Not only a lifetime guarantee which for the money is excellent but I wondered about the claims for better mpg. I clocked my mpg on the way there and same route and general speed on way home. To my surprise, I got 3-4 mpg more on return journey.Also it does sound good and has improved response slightly. The engineer that did the work let me see the whole process and answered all my questions and even got into the physics of the tech about flow rates and sound waves. Proper old school skills and workmanship. Could not recommend more highly and frankly should I need an exhaust for any other cars in the future, I would not hesitate to go back to Vortex

Wow...the vortex exhaust is amazing. It has transformed my td5. sound is better and more responsive performance. It's a great upgrade.Friendly staff and great customer service.

Wanted to get my exhaust done. Spoke to Melvin in May and he gave me a rough idea on what I'll be looking at doing. Then called the company twice in July to get a price and get myself booked in. Was told both times they'd give me a call back but never did. Not an issue, there's plenty of other exhaust companies around with better customer service.Also know people who have had their exhaust done dissatisfied and promised to get it sorted out within 2 weeks, also called the company multiple times and always the same story - we will call you back".Only use this company as a one-time deal and pray you will be happy with the outcome because if you need anything after that

Had an exhaust cat back made for my car and 7 months on its blowing, I have rung numerous times to be told someone will call me back which has never happend. Not over impressed considering it cost me 800.00 pounds for this.

Buyer beware!This company is an absolute joke. I had a full exhaust fitted a year ago, which was so badly installed, I was forced to return six times and it's still blowing in several places. After each repair, I took the car to a different independent fitter to have the work Vortex carried out checked, and on every occasion they told me the work was some of the worst they've ever seen. I have tried to explain this to the owner of Vortex who is a master of excuses of why the job isn't their fault and why he was never available to return my calls.I do think the system has some performance merit but this is negated by the cowboy approach the company has to exhaust fitment and a total lack of customer service.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and I'd urge anyone reading this, who values their car to spend a little extra and go through your main dealer or use one of the many other exhaust specialists out there.

Purchased vortex turbo back system for my vehicle in November told I would receive for Christmas if not 1st week in January, none of this was fulfilled as agreed.2 out of the 3 exhaust parts arrived near the end of January to be totally incorrect and did not fit my vehicle, made contact and they tried to accommodate sent out another middle section with a homemade bracket as they thought it would fix the issue which it didn’t as rear section was still incorrect, was trying to work the company to get this fixed as I wanted the vortex system but unfortunately just got fobbed off with all different excuses then requested my refund which is proving even more difficult to obtain and now not replying to emails or returning calls.I cannot commit on the system as I hadn’t received any of the 3 parts that fit my vehicle but the customer service and dealing with them is terrible now no trust in what they previously told me and struggling to get my money back on an unfulfilled order
