In Frome for a long weekend and found Just ales 2. Great ales, great local gins, but best of all such a warm welcome. Walked in strangers but left friends. Lovely hosts and customers. A special mention to Oscar the dog. Will definitely be going back. Fran and Charlie

Friendly micropub in Frome Town centre serving 3 ever changing real ales on draught. Also cider, wines & gin well represented. Landlord has a well behaved rescue dog called Oscar who will love a good tickle behind the ears

Great location in Frome. Warm welcome from barman Andy and Oscar the dog! Great selection of local beer and cider, plus authentic biltong sliced up on the spot. Prices excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Ales: ist das alles? Not quite. They also sell some ciders, provided you like the sludgy, non-fizzy type. They DO stock a bottled lager (Corona), but daring to order it will cost you the bartender's sneering disdain. Small, echoey, uncomfortable: clearly I'm not the target punter.
