The owner is really, really knowledgeable and obviously very keen that the animals he sells go to good homes. He was really accommodating and forthcoming, even though I'd made it clear I was just there to check things out and wasn't interested in buying anything.As I chatted with him, several regulars came in for a quick word with him and, again, it was clear he had a good relationship with them all and had a little community going.If I were to buy a pet, I wouldn't think twice of buying from this store. Really top bloke and highly recommended.

What a place this is to go! After visiting many reptile shops around Yorkshire, this is by far the best, with a variety of stock. To top it off the bloke that helped us decide on our new pet was filled with knowledge and a positive&welcoming attitude!Definitely the only place we will use for any future pets or equipment neededThanks again

The owner is very knowledgeable on all the animals and is more than happy to help. Me and my girlfriend went in for the first time and ended up buying a Japanese ratsnake. If you've never been you need to visit. Great guy and amazing reptiles that you don't see in other shops.

I only went in to browse but the owner was very knowledgeable about all the inverts and reptiles in the store and made me feel so comfortable that I ended up leaving with a beautiful Gooty Sapphire tarantula with an enclosure and didn't experience a moment of buyer's remorse! I was furnished with great care and husbandry advice too! 10/10 would recommend!

Massive shout out to Reptasia Pet Centre Harrogate who made my sons day today by allowing him to stroke a Python, hold a Geko and meet Spike the Bearded Dragon! According to my 4 year old it was THE BEST DAY EVER! Thank you to the two guys in the shop who were not only incredibly patient but also extremely knowledgeable - to the delight of our budding Zoologist who is now educating us on all things reptile!!

We are new to keeping reptiles and bought an albino leopard gecko and all the kit needed from this shop about a month ago. Lovely place and Ben was friendly, helpful and reassuring - happy to answer questions in person and on the phone. I would highly recommend Yorkshire Reptile - great selection of animals and equipment and top customer service. Picture shows our new pet 'hunting' a waxworm!
