Bolton's Funerals

Please take 2 minutes of your precious time to read this precious story. We had the most lovely service with Bolton’s funerals, they went above and beyond for our little girl. We found out our little girl was very poorly and only had 12 weeks with her before she left us. Janet and her team were amazing they even came in to the chapel on a bank holiday for me to see my beautiful daughter before we had to say goodbye forever. They were so helpful , organised and sympathetic to us, they’re so caring with everything they do. We’ll forever come back to Bolton’s funerals. They’re a family run business since 1927. The chapel is beautiful inside and homely and have the utmost respect for the lost loved ones and they’re families.The review from mr John Fleming has upset me as I know he was arrested at that funeral by plain clothed police officers as he had an injunction and should not have attended, how dare he say such things about such a special service and people that work so so hard . We laid our mum to rest yesterday and her family have used Boltons for many years. Top class with the upmost respect, no request was too much trouble . Janet & John and their daughters are very professional from the minute we met them to plan mums funeral, to visiting mum at the chapel of rest to the day of the funeral. Bolton’s funerals - Janet, John and Caris are exceptional funeral directors. My Dad passed away at the beginning of the pandemic after a long illness. They treated everyone with dignity, care and respect like you are part of the family. Dad got the send off he deserved during a very difficult time. Thankyou x

Bolton's recently conducted my dad's funeral at Howe Bridge. I originally became aware of them when I attended a previous family funeral last year. Both services were conducted in a very dignified & professional manner. All the staff are very kind, friendly and welcoming. The Celebrant Darren Anders did a magnificent job conducting the service, music and eulogy. Several members of our family & friends have commented on the professional, friendly manner in which proceedings were conducted. MASSIVE THANKS to all at Boltons and Darren. ❤️The Seddon Family❤️

Outstanding! This is the second time I have used Bolton’s and I will continue to do so. During difficult times it is gratifying to know that from the first meeting, Janet, John and Caris take care of absolutely everything down to the smallest detail with upmost understanding and respect.
