I've know Matt and the bikes he's worked on for many years. He's Knowledgeable and detailed while taking care to deliver to customers expectations. A well priced and convenient bike repair service from a real nice chap.

Short lead time, easy to book and quality work. All for same cost as a shop without the hassle!

Firstly - I never leave reviews …….however …A minor but tricky issue to fix left me resigned to paying for a repair and to take the bike to a repair shop. On checking around I opted for Matt at Ascent expecting a slightly bigger bill. The price would have been fair and dare I say it better than expected in store. To have him arrive and do it in person with a card reader…. Well, def worthy of a review. Great service and great value. Thanks.

I was recommended to ask for Matthew in a private bike shop a couple of years ago, and the work and the seeming ease of which he performed it astounded me! I have since always asked for Matthew, and he has restored countless bikes of mine to a brilliant condition. To hear he has gone mobile is a god send! I’ve already called him twice, and it costs me no more than when I used to go to the shop! Each time he was very polite and courteous, was able to come out same day (once within 2 hours!) and done a top notch job on my bike. Thank you very much, I really look forward to using your services again in the future.

Matt came to our house today to look at a bicycle donated to our Ukrainian guest.He serviced it and fixed a couple of issues.I would highly recommend Ascent Cycles, excellent service, very responsive and friendly and great knowledge and expertise.And a big plus is that you don’t have to take your bike anywhere to be looked at, ‘home’ service is so much more convenient.
