Incredibly disappointed with my experience with City Realtors. Rented my first flat in London through them and the service has been poor from the outset.From them giving me the wrong keys on move in day, leaving me locked out of my own flat overnight during the work week, to being difficult when asking them to provide my future landlord with a reference, it's just been very far from ideal.The one positive is whenever I have needed to get hold of them (within standard office hours) they have come back to me relatively quickly and attempted to solve the problems - hence the 2 star review, however it is worth noting that you have to be proactive in chasing them to solve any issues. I expect they are a company taking on too much responsibility without the right resources to manage them.Edit: In addition to this, they tried to take money out of our deposits for wear and tear that was there when we moved in - for marks on the carpet and mattresses. We knew we didn’t make these marks, and appealed these, and it wasn’t until we sent them back the video viewing they initially sent to us before we moved in containing these marks, that they fully refunded us the deposits.

Pretty please can you take down our sold sign. It’s been almost a year. Stand outside your office, look left and you’ll see it in all its glory. I have asked politely several times.

As all of the other reviews are stating stay away from this estate agents. Took us months to get our deposit back and only got it back when we told them we were formally disputing with TDS. Lots of things went unfixed throughout the year. The end of year inspection bordered on threatening. Make sure you take photos of everything because they will try to take every penny.

Awful experience.Apartment was riddled with bed bugs upon move in. I had really bad skin reaction because of it. They charged us for replacing a lock that was working perfectly when we moved out. Also charged us cleaning fees when we left the flat in better condition than it was when we moved in.Really really wouldn't reccomend using this agency. Very difficult to deal with and they will take as much of your deposit as they can.

Rented via this agency for 2.5 years. Always completed repairs on time. Was flexible with move out date and always responded to queries quickly. Would highly recommend.

Very shady – make sure to take many photos of the condition of your flat/room/shared space on arrival or they will pluck a magic expensive number out of the air and charge you off your deposit. Lots of outstanding problems in my flat I rented, never got fixed. Don't trust all these Best voted in London" gold badges on their email. Their flat inspection was intimidating and somewhat threatening."
