The puppy and beginner gundog courses have been an absoulte life line in learning to handle our young Golden Retriever. Such amazing support from trainers Nicole and Mark. Highly recommend Acer Gundog for anyone looking to learn and bond with their gundog. We look forward to doing more courses in the future.

I cannot recommend Acer highly enough. We have been training with Acer for a year now, having started with the puppy classes with my Labrador, Penny, and recently switched to 1:1s for some extra help to work through some issues we were having.Jan is knowledgeable, pragmatic, encouraging and supportive and I am so grateful for all her help and advice. The classes have made such a difference to my dog and me and I am so pleased with the progress we have made.Having a trainer that is so quick to tailor the exercises to what your dog is capable of doing on the day, and who celebrates every little success with you, makes such a difference.

We have come through the puppy class through to the junior class so far, both Nicole and Mark have been fantastic throughout each course, sharing their own experience and knowledge to help progress and teach you to train your dog at a pace that suits it. The extra support in the Facebook group and online lessons to refer to is a bonus to really get the training layers in and proof the dogs learning.

Acer Gundog Training is honestly just fantastic! I started training with my Vizsla, Goose, at just 12 weeks old back in December last year and tomorrow will be our last session on the Advanced foundation course.Goose and I have attended each course with Jan in Bourn, who is fantastic and so full of knowledge! Lots of people have commented on how calm and well behaved Goose is and I 100% put that down to the skills and knowledge I have learnt from Acer.Each week I have been able to build on these, and work with Goose at home, to make sure he develops the right behaviours from an early age.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone - worth every penny!

I've just completed the Beginner Foundation course. I really liked the way that the training exercises build on what you learnt and practised the week before. This means you're setting a solid foundation for loose lead walking, steadiness, impulse control, recall, etc. Hellen is a great trainer and uses her experience to help each individual dog and handler be successful.

Just finished my second course with Acer Gundog training with Hellen. My dog has by far exceeded my expectations with the training already. I have booked onto my third course and I recommend it to everyone! The professionalism and quality of training is by far the best! Thanks all at Acer!

Acer gun dog training is excellent. The training is clear and logical and our trainer Jan is supportive and professional. We very much enjoy our mornings on site in class but also it makes the whole week much more fun as we do our excersizes together at home. Working to build a strong relationship with our dog. We are thrilled we found them and highly recommend them to anybody looking for dog training.

I’ve been training 1:1 with Sacha for a few months now. She is friendly, helpful, considerate and really knows her stuff. Sometimes it is like a counselling session too, to help me believe in my dog and what we can achieve together.You can learn dog training from books and videos but they can’t give you feedback to adjust and refine what you are doing in order to get to the behaviour you are aiming for.Small businesses need support. I definitely recommend Acer Gundog Training

We enrolled on a one to one, six week course with Mel in Bourn, I'm sad to see it end this week! Having been told by another trainer to come back when our dog was calmer-a phone call to Mark to book and the course we undertook and six weeks of grafting we now have a spaniel who settles herself and will walk to heel. Absolutely would 100% ecommend and will enroll in further courses as time allows after we see this season out.Thank you to everyone at Acer.
