Pool House at Witley Court
Plenty of space to wander, and enjoy the wide green landscape over which sit the lovely ruins of this still gracious house.The fountain is spectacular. Massive, noisy and imposing. (It runs for about fifteen minutes on the hour.)It's well worth the walk to the truly excellent church café.Oh! And while you're there, the church. It's not your run of the mill god-house. Check it out and you'll see what I mean. Spectacular.I recommend bringing a drink when you visit. You won't want to be shlepping over to the church whenever you're thirsty, and English Heritage, in their wonky way don't really do refreshments. I couldn't even find water in their shop. Mead, beer, wine yes, but no water!

This is brilliant location with very spacious rooms and a lovely large enclosed garden. It is well supplied with all you need for a successful stay. Can highly recommend this place for a large family gathering (8).
