Free accessible car park very close to South Wheal Frances however the height restriction is low at 1.8m I believe so we couldn’t fit our Land Rover into the car park and there isn’t really any other parking around for a few miles!Bear that In mind for larger suv style cars and vans :(

Good area for walking, there are horses and bikers using the paths. There is a board with information on the site and the various engine houses around

Nice, fairly flat walk from the (free) carpark to some interesting mining ruins. There is a longer walk (that I returned to do with the dogs) around Carn Brea. The local scouts were having a ceremony and there were several signs to explain what you are looking at.

Don't try to go in here with anything other than a car. It has a height barrier. Plenty of parking for cars and a short distance from interesting mine buildings and wonderful walks

Came here 19 years ago for a walk and enjoyed it, It is lovely to walk around places like this and read of the history, visited this time as my daughter needed to take some photos for her school art project the 3 children enjoyed the walk and learning about the area.

Basic gravel car park that is free to park in. Short walk to the mining trails and the engine houses, good views of the surrounding area including the Bassett Monument .Height restriction of 1.90m to enter car park.
