Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park

Lovely place to stay. Warm welcome from the staff who were kind and very helpful throughout my familys stay. My only regret is I had to leave! Stunning surroundings and highly recommend you drive as public transport can take a while to get around the island, and the road into the resort has no pavement.

First time back to the IoW and Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park since before the lockdowns. Once again the site did not disappoint. Had a nice large flat pitch with hook up ideal for our 5 berth tent (Just 2 of us and a dog - we like lots of room). Nice local walks for Badger the dog first and last thing in the day. Lovely (Improved) bar area with friendly staff and 'campers'. Spotless facilities with bags of hot water. Good local bus service so the car was left on site while we went out and about by bus and train. Would happily recommend. We did the deal so we got cheaper ferry crossings on Wightlink from Portsmouth which is ideal for us as we live in Southsea. Keith, John and Badger.

Stayed here for two weeks, overall a nice site with swimming pool for the kids. It's rained a lot and had to contend with water logged awning but it dried up pretty quick. The pitch we had was really big. The shower was clean and modern. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Stayed for 2 nights in a large tent with the whole family. Amazing layout, large pitches, amenities were very nice especially the newer built shower/toilet facilities. Outdoor swimming pool was very warm and was perfect for the smaller children. Overall very impressed and would definitely go again!

Had a lovely time lots of memories of Jake and John.We were made so welcome and the changes made are really good. Needless to say the pool a great attraction for the girls. Looking forward to see you soon x

Super for camping with a tent and car. Facilities clean and good. Nice pool and delicious pizza from the bar

Just back from camping here. Lovely site. Friendly welcome from the staff. Great bar area and pool. The only things I could possibly complain about is the pool could be a couple of degrees warmer and the shower I used wasn't brilliant but I think that was just that one. The others seemed ok. The toilet facilities and the whole site were all spotless at all times too. A joy to stay here and highly recommended.

Nice clean campsite fully serviced pitches were good. Access the last 500yards mostly single track did cause a few problems on entry with late leavers coming out. Bit tight with larger outfits.

Great place to make a base for exploring the island, well laid out pitches, showers and toilets are spotless and warm.Staff were extremely helpful with information on what and where to go with pets.

Pool freezing although said heated couldn't accommodate our request for a specific pitch we had last year although we booked 7 months before visit. Because we don't have children we loved the end field . In house pizza are excellent at 11 pounds but no complaints at all couldn't finish it .beautiful cafe bar but can't help thinking if drinks were cheaper (premium prices) you would get more in and creating a better atmosphere . Very very windy
