My daughter has been having lessons with Mike for the past 4 months and has learnt so much in a short space of time. He is very patient and supportive, offers lots of encouragement and makes learning guitar fun and enjoyable. I look forward to seeing her progress as she continues the lessons.

Mike has been teaching my son guitar for nearly 2 years now since he was 6. He has been excellent and my son was a total beginner when he started and has improved a huge amount with the guidance from Mike. I would highly reccomend Mike to others wanting to learn guitar.

My son (age 7) started guitar lessons with Michael at the age of 6 and he enjoys the face to face lessons and is having a great time learning to play guitar. We quite like his approach or way of teaching, where one doesn't bombard you with just theory, but introduces songs from the start and makes it more interesting. He is very patient with younger ones and really pleased to have found him. I have now started learning guitar as-well, seeing the interest the little one shows in it and the way Michael teaches irrespective of age group.

Mike is a great teacher and very supportive. Mike will often play guitar alongside my son with the backing track playing. My son is more confident at playing the guitar now, plays well and most importantly is enjoying the lessons. Many thanks

Mike is very friendly , interactive and teaches well as per the way my daughter wanted it to be. it’s been long journey with Mike as my daughter started learning guitar from the age of 5 and has picked up so well.

My son, who is 13, has been having lessons with Mike for over a year. The lessons are friendly and relaxed. Mike choses songs carefully that he thinks my son will like while challenging him. My son's guitar playing has really improved and he enjoys his lessons. Mike is a great teacher who is very patient and calm.

Mike is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and above all makes learning fun. I had never picked up an instrument and had no previous musical experience prior to getting my bass guitar as a 60th birthday present. Right from the start Mike provided me with the resources to play along to songs I know and love. It’s always exciting to get a new song that will stretch my technique and under Mike’s guidance I have progressed to a level I never thought I was capable achieving.

My son has had electric guitar lessons for the last couple of years. He has come on in leaps and bounds in this time. His teacher is amazing. My son looks forward to his weekly lessons which are tailored to him. Lessons are also reasonably priced. I highly recommend

After putting off learning to play guitar for 50 years and finding online courses a bit unsatisfactory I took the plunge and booked some lessons with Mike. Mike has a relaxed style of teaching , with an emphasis on playing songs, he is always encouraging and easy to get along with. One of the key things for me was getting good feedback something you definitely don’t get from an online course. I’ve been having regular lessons with Mike for a while now, at my age I’m unlikely to be the next guitar hero but at least the cat no longer makes a dash for the door when she sees me pick the guitar up and even my wife has said “that sounded quite good . Perhaps old dogs can learn new tricks if they are taught well."
