Calida Hair, barber and beauty.

Needed a barber for that monthly tidy up. Decided to give Calida a try. Very pleased I did. Great job, reasonable rates, and they are nice and bright into the bargain. Recommended.

Can't do balayage, don't listen to what you want and can't cut a fringe. They hashed my hair, and when I complained they were aggressive and defensive, two people standing over me whilst I was sitting 'going-at'. No return of the 'high-end' fee for a back street service. I was given a complimentary cut and dry, I wouldn't return there - EVER. I said I wouldn't slate them but now a friend has gone there, paid £40 for a cut and blow dry, being very specific about how she didn't want her hair feathered but they went on and did it anyway. I only wish I'd spoken up about them before, it would have at least saved my friend some heartache.

Claire and her team are lovely and welcoming, and she always does a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

Calida is a wonderful hair salon and Genevieve is fabulous. Her attention to detail is amazing and I have been so pleased with my colour and cut each time I have visited. It is so difficult to find a great hairdresser who you trust and who continues to do a great job. I have found mine!

I get a lovely haircut every time, I have been going to Calida for 18mths and now get the cut I always wanted and Claire is really lovely and the salon is completely covid secure would highly recommend this salon to anyone

Awful salon, rude owner and worst customer service I have ever experienced from a salon.To cut a very long story short...- I left the salon yesterday with damp hair unfinished and sun stayed after having been there from 10.30 to 3.45pm.- I left with yellow tinged bleached hair instead of white blonde with lilac and dark purple streaks running through it.- I rang Claire the following morning to express that I was unhappy with the outcome and explain what happened the day before and at first she didn't offer to put it right and told me to wait a couple of days for the colour to settle which I wasn't prepared to do as it was so bad. (She denied this the second time I spoke to her and said she did offer first time)- I had to put my t shirt in the bin that I wore to the salon as it was stained orange on the back- I had to go to a different salon for them to correct my hair as Claire said even if I popped there this afternoon she couldn't guarantee she would put it right and it's an hour there for me which I wasn't willing to drive for it not to be sorted.- didn't receive an apology or nice response from Claire on the phone when I rang.This is the last time I will visit this unprofessional, rude salon.Please share this post so that it prevents somebody from having the same experience as my sister.
