Worst renting experience of my life.I can go on and on about our awful experience with this branch of Carter Jonas but I don't want to waste any more of my life with this lot so I’ll try to keep it brief, factual and informative.(Also if you look at trust pilot and see the ratio between good and bad reviews, the number of reviews people that rated 5* have left and also read some of the reviews – its clearly incentivised to leave a good review – my opinion).If anyone would like the FULL detail, please get in contact with me and I’m happy to show you everything I have and explain in detail.From day 1 it seemed like this branch of Carter Jonas were against us. They were never on our side when it came to the numerous amount of disputes we had with the landlords property - the landlord even slipped up and told us how Pauline (an associate at Carter Jonas) was pulling the strings on some of the disputes we had, advising the landlord to just shrug us off (might have been just pushing away the blame).Move-in was horrible, the place was disgusting, rubbish left in the garden, broken cabinets, lights, holes in the walls, unclean, dead animals and insects and lots, LOTS more. We were simply brushed away when we complained about the condition of the property time and time again – however we made sure to take as many pictures as we could and save all the emails as we knew Carter Jonas and the Landlord would try their luck.When it finally came to leaving the dump – they decided to charge us over £700 for cleaning and damages. We admitted there were a few minor cleaning issues (couple of stains on the carpet, outside windows needed wiping, sink needed wiping, a few crumbs left on a counter etc.).The checkout was done by Jessica, a property manager – she failed to read the original inventory report and took pictures of problems PRE-DATING our tenancy! She also failed to read the numerous emails we sent complaining about the state of the property which we later used as proof that the problems were already there before we moved in!To add insult to injury Carter Jonas decided to pay over £400 for a full house clean when the cleaning problems could have been fixed by a professional cleaner in a matter of 30 minutes.Now clearly I’m biased but we disputed this £700 with TDS, I have a report from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) adjudicator which backs our case and everything I’ve said, in the end we got almost £500 back from TDS.Okay im rambling now.. here's the facts:In our 1 year tenancy we experienced;1 dodgy fuse box2 major leaks3 hundred holes in the house4 billion spores of mould7 mice in the house20~ broken bits of furniture/fixings...

Excellent service all round. Carter Jonas have managed my rental property for several years. Most recently, while I have been busy caring for elderly relatives, they have managed all the repairs needed during a change of tenant. The staff are always very friendly, responsive, reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Extremely good paperwork too. I highly recommend them to other landlords.

I last week my wife and I spent an entire day viewing properties with Ben Haynes. We saw several properties that I had picked out from Rightmove, and several others that Ben recommended; which both matched our requirement list but also broadened the scope of properties in which we are interested. He new the city and its neighborhoods very well, and we really enjoyed our time spent with him. I would highly recommend both Ben and Carter Jonas.

We recently worked with Carter Jonas to find our new home. From the very beginning we could tell that Naomi was there to help us every step of the way. We were very quickly booked to have a viewing and were able to sign and move in all within 10 days. Naomi and all the staff at Carter Jonas went out of their way to assist with any requests we had. Communication was quick and effective and calling in would immediately answer any questions we had. If you are a landlord or a tenant, I can’t recommend this Carter Jonas site enough.

For at least the last 4 years with Carter Jonas, I have been extremely satistied with the excellent services of their letting department. All their staff are efficient and friendly especially Stephanie Rose, Pauline Mc Kinven, Megan, Jessica...I could not have hoped for a better team.
