Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh

2 stars for the location, with it being under the shadow of Arthur's Seat. The room was of terrible quality, no change of bedding or towels, no bedside lamps and a really loud squeaky bed. Oh the pillows may as well have been tea towels they were that flat. I understand this is halls of residence accommodation, but you're charging hotel prices for the Fringe and making far too much money off the back of this. Treat your guests with more dignity. The food is completely substandard as well.

We stayed for one night at the University, and had the chance to sleep in one of the students’ rooms which can be booked during summer months. I really recommend this place if you visit Edinburgh, moreover in case you wanna experience “campus life”, walking through the University, eating breakfast in the canteen, and much more.The location can be reached in a 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre, and there are also options to get there via bus or taxi.

Beautiful location , the rooms were very basic but at a good price,what was the minus was the noise at night Italian or Spanish students who lived there were very noisy at night they were in the corridors until the morning it was not possible to sleep there.

Awesome breakfasts are served there. Rooms are basic but comfy enough. Desk check-in is super sympa and very helpful.
