Newark Hospital

What a fantastic hospital. First ever visit today at the hospital with Audiology department. Staff so helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean, thought it was a new hospital. Thanks to all working there and the NHS.

Please pass on my thanks to everyone I met at Newark Hospital today ... the reception staff at the clinic and at the main doors . The nurse in Rheumatology who took my blood pressure and the nurse who took my bloods ( completely painlessly) . Doctor Abbas who gave me a wonderful steroid injection and everyone else including the lovely lady in the Coffee shop .Regards and huge thanksPatricia Miller

Newark is my preference within Lincoln. * I learnt only 20/11 this hospital is within NOTTINGHAM:-)) Staff not 'up themselves' kind, explanatory and efficient even during weekends!

I visited the cardiac unit as an outpatient and the appointment was on time. I was greeted by a lady volunteer who helped me navigate to my appointment, the gentleman who took me for my ecg was very nice and then my appointment with the doctor was prompt. I was very anxious and the staff were all so kind to me. The hospital was clean, calming and well organised I would recommend it. The parking was a little limited so leave 15 mins extra to find a space. I would like to thank the lovely staff today on the angina unit they were amazing.

After being on hold for 30 mins, someone answered and when I described what I needed they hung up. I’m a nervous 19 year old trying to book an appointment, thanks for making it worse.

After a visit to emergency unit was told no breaks to wrist, sought GP advice after it referred to QMC, more x-rays and told base of ulna broken, too old an injury by this time to put in plaster! Just beyond belief!

I had an ultrasound scan recently the lady's were brilliant very professional and efficient, I also saw Elizabeth Gemmil recently a lady consultant after having a camera down my throat she was fantastic very professional and completely put me at ease as did the team doing the throat camera procedure

This hospital is the most outstanding I have ever been treated at. It is a small, non bustling hospital where treatment is second to none. You're treated with dignity and care that I have never experienced before. Minster ward has amazing staff who work closely like a well oiled machine. They even find time to share 5 minutes with you. I had a major op there and my treatment from admission to discharge was absolutely outstanding. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I hope the staff from Minster get to see this. Thank you to Mr Srinivasan for sending me there. I only had to wait a year for this op too which was an extra bonus.

We were on holiday in Newark and attended the urgent care centre at the hospital. We cannot thank or praise them enough. All the staff were fabulous.
