Their not interested in helping a dying animal, especially when they're about to shut shop and it'll inconvenience them. Make no mistake, this place is a business, with no place for compassion.If you love and care for your animal, don't bring it here.

Last Thursday I had an emergency visit as I had three poorly kittens who were very close to passing, id left work to check on them as they were fine that morning but by lunchtime they were in critical condition. Having one die already earlier on in the week I was very distressed and desperate to give the others the best chance they had. Id spoken to the cat protection team an hour prior and was advised to take them to the rusthall surgery. When I got there I was refused entry and the lady who answered the door didn’t even take a second to look at the kittens who were barely moving just breathing. In the time it took to get through mid day traffic to highbrooms vets the kittens had passed . I believe that most vets start in this career mostly because of their love for animals, however this surgery is another story and the lack of empathy on her face and the way she dealt with the situation says it all.I’m so distraught they are gone and miss them so much . I’m sure if they’d have been seen straight away they would have had a chance. After all vets have a duty of care for every animal and a job to do.

Great service always find space to see my cat .the vet will tell you what is going on and explain what to do to help him to avoid it happening again.

Great vets. Quick, responsive and friendly

Called up on behalf of my very distressed customer who had asked me to do a casting of her beautiful dogs paw who unfortunately passed away in an accident. The man I spoke to was very rude and had 0 empathy of the situation. I am unsure if he understood what I needed, he was certainly not interested in hearing me out. The family did not plan on taking their dog home and had asked if I could do it at the vet. Having done this in other veterinary practices, I thought this would be fine. How wrong I was!I was met with rudeness and 0 compassion for this family. When explaining I am a life caster and I take impressions and my customer wanted an impression of her dogs paw I was met with ‘what? No we wouldn’t be able to have you alone in the back during clinic and us at the front. All I needed was 5 minutes to take the impression. Most practices are accommodating in this and have understood that these are very sentimental and the last memory of their beloved pet. This vet has 0 compassion or empathy for families and refused to accommodate a small room for 5 minutes and a member of staff to accompany me so I am not alone ‘doing whatever it is I want to do’ in his words!I am appalled and just word of warning to anyone who has a sick or dying animal, do not take it here as there is no empathy for families.My customer had to go and get her dog from the vet all for something that could have been done with a bit of willing by the vet in 5 minutes rather than distressing the customer even more having to go and get her dead animal and then take it back to the vet.A picture of a casting of the said paw attached so you understand maybe, just maybe next time!

Absolutely brilliant vets practice very friendly and most helpful with our little rescue dog when she needed an operation on her eye

Great practice, they are always very professional and compassionate. Always welcomed warmly by phone and in person.They are prompt with emailing or calling you back. I have my concerns listened to and acted upon, the most recent was changing my dog's flea treatment. All in all I believe they put your pet's needs above everything else.

Great staff, really nice people. First vet's I've ever been to in my life that I trust, usually vet's are in my used car dealers category. This place is just an old school genuine vet's, definitely highly recommend.
