Gaunts of Wollaston were the first Funeral Directors I rang when my husband passed away, from the outset I knew that I could place all my trust in Jake, he/they did not disappoint!As soon as you walk into their premises you realise they’re not the norm when you envisage funeral directors. Nothing is too much trouble, every wish was catered for whilst being respectful and polite. Jake was there for me every step of the way through this sad, difficult and painful time. I really can’t thank Jake and his team enough they were absolutely wonderful

Jake and sam did a Excellent job of looking after me and my mom, for the services for my wife and my dad, very professional and very friendly, would recommend them.

After sadly losing my mom i chose to use Gaunts of Wollaston for her funeral, they have been wonderful from the start , they made a very sad time in our lives more bearable by being very compassionate, caring and understanding of our needs, they was very patient and was more than happy to explain what needed to be done every step of the way, i have never fortunately had to use a funeral directors in the past but if i needed to in the future i would go no where other than Gaunts, the whole service has been exceptional but especially Jake who i had the most dealings with, he always put us at ease and took a lot of the stress and worry away from us, which at such a difficult time us a family needed, we felt fully supported from start to finish and the price we paid was very reasonable for the service we received.I would highly recommend them.Thank you to the whole team.

It's not something you would normally think about after loosing a loved one, i.e.. writing a revue, although I feel compelled to do so.Sadly I have had to organise quite a few funerals in my time, using different Funeral Directors, however I must state that GAUNTS of WOLLASTON and especially Chris Pinfield along with all the members of staff went far above my expectations, with their meticulous attention to detail, and their professional and courteous approach from start to finish.I truly can not praise or thank them enough for taking care of the funeral of my Mother in such a sad time.Our Most Sincere RegardsAnthony and Family

You were so supportive throughout and treated my partner with respect and dignity and you gave him send off he would have been proud of.They are not only professional and totally reliable, they are so very kind and caring as well. Every detail even some personal requests that I made were taken care of with respect and care.Thank you does not seem enough. Highly recommended, I would be lost without them ❤️

Today is a year since we lost our beloved mother Gladys, aged 100.I have to say the service we received from Gaunt’s of Wollaston, especially from Sam as she was the person I mainly dealt with, was exemplary.The photo to accompany the casket at the service and the beautiful white candle in a holder which had Mom’s photo as a young woman long before I was born, were supplied at absolutely no extra cost. It was a little extra to all the rest of the care taken.The picture candle seen in the photo was lit for her birth date last year, Christmas Day, Mother’s Day and today to commemorate our loss a year ago has given me such great comfort, bringing the memory of my Mom almost to life on the special days.They couldn’t know the comfort their actions have given us over the past year but I do and express my gratitude here
