The Spaghetti Incident
Really lovely place, great pasta, massive portions. The house red is actually really nice. As is the fried calamari, definitely worth getting if you go for a starter. Chriselle was our server and was very welcoming and quick with service. We had a really lovely time, thanks for having us!10/10 will come again!

The Spaghetti Incident
Disappointed as we had heard many great reviews of this place. Sadly we found the mains were not to our taste. I had the carbonara and found it incredibly salty which prevented me from finishing it (and finishing my food is never a problem!) so I would give it a 2/5. The rigatoni al ragu was better and the tiramisu actually really good.We were left waiting to order for quite a while and in the end had to ask one of the cooks to take our order for us. The atmosphere was okay but the music was turned up too loud and we had to raise our voices to talk to each other. Music varied from modern hip hop and rap to retro pop music and was not on theme with the restaurant or consistent throughout the night.I would like to try this place again but am honestly reluctant given our experience, a shame.

Honestly, I saw the high rating and had high expectations which were unfortunately crushed when the food arrived - now this may actually be a restaurant run by students and good on them if it is - it's just that I don't want the food shouting that message to me. With a combination of orders of both pasta and pizza dishes, all of the pasta dishes were visually unappealing with a dull, deathly, matt parlour to them, whilst the pizzas were nothing special......ok, but nothing special....just like the taste. Unfortunately the prices were not student prices or I might have upgraded my review by 1*.... I wouldn't bother if I were you.

Can't understand why this place doesn't get consistent fantastic reviews as the food was fabulous! Went with a group of friends, I ordered the spinach and almond pasta with crispy kale and it is the best pasta dish I've ever had!!

The food is delicious! The homemade pasta was incredibly good and the arancini as well. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and modern, the lighting was romantic and the vespa in the middle of the restaurant was a nice touch. The service was incredibly fast and the waiters were friendly, polite and attentive. All I have is 5 stars for The Spaghetti Incident!

The great thing is they homemade the pasta! Every few months the change the menu for (supper time) with new varieties also respecting the right season vegetables, I can see the passion of the chefs that choosen each ingredient and the preparation it is outstanding!!My sincerely appreciation for that!Sergio Z.

The Spaghetti Incident
The Spaghetti Incident totally took me by surprise. Having rushed passed it may times this was my first visit and it won't be the last. Friendly and informed staff just a tad slow in getting my first drink but made up for it later with chats about the food and recipes. The food was most excellent, pasta beautify cooked and the seafood and accompanying sauce divine. The restaurant itself is is cosy and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

I have been in many other Italian restaurant in Bristol, and honestly this is the best one, it’s affordable and very good. The portion are ok, and it’s homemade. If you are hesitating between different Italian restaurant, pick this one.One remark though, I couldn’t quite taste the truffle in the tagliatelle Alfredo, but was still very good.
