Hannah's Bakery

Call in here on my way to Thurrock hospital for a blood test. Collect my bacon roll and hot water to have while queueing up and the time doesn't seem so long.

Called in to pick up breakfast for myself and the lads at work, a little before 8am on Friday. While two customers before me were served, I waited, and two other customers came into shop, eventually the assistant approached a woman who came in after me, and asked for her order. I objected, as I had waited for quite some time and was, now running a little late. The assistant had seen me waiting there, and as I made to leave she sarcastically said: Well if you don't get in the queue you won't get served"I wasn't a regular to this shop

We ordered a Roary cake from the one in Grays Town for our son's 4th birthday and were most disappointed. Whilst I appreciated it was short notice as the party was on Saturday 24/1/15 and we put the order in on the Monday 19/1/15.Much to our dismay the lady was not capable of making the model cars we required and suggested we buy toy ones which in the end cost us an extra £20 on top of the £54 they charged. The cake was over priced for what we received it didn't look exactly like picture we provided and we could live with that as we were conscious that we didn't give much notice however, the cake was dense and dry with not much flavour which was not surprising being as when I called to discuss the issue with the car to go on top I was informed on the Wednesday that the cake was ready but was awaiting the cars to be fixed on. Surely if the cake was ready in 2 days it wasn't going to be at it's freshest on the Saturday when we were due to collect it!I would not recommend this bakery.Disappointed customerGrays

I have stood so many times in a long queue here before for someone to walk right in push in front and then be served. The staff should insist that these chancers go to the back of the queue. Last time I walked out and spent my money else where. Service used to be good but went down hill. The sausage rolls could do with 5 min less too as they are usually cremated

Hannah’s bakery is very underrated! I think their staff are hard working and very kind! If you’re looking for a tasty treat this is the perfect place. Hannah’s bakery always hits my sweet tooth, and is PERFECT for anyone!

The staff are lovely and can only do what they can.I go to Hannahs in lodge lane and for a bakery its just shocking to always walk in to bare walls and no rolls, which apparently sell out in the AM. If its not the rolls, it’s definitely something else.I understand there could be supply issues especially with the pandemic but this has been going on over years, even pre pandemic.Prices goes up every year which explains why they cover the price board with white paper so they can charge at inflated prices.Its a shame as I really enjoy getting my breakfast in the mornings here but supply is dreadful and I always seem to be paying more than the last time for the same order!

Nice bakery with some really nice women who work in there.Sandwiches and sticks are good value too.

Small chain of independently owned shops giving Gregg's and the like a run for their money. Decently filled bacon rolls. Usual bakery goods, nothing exotic but all the run of the mill stuff you need. Worth a visit.

Amazing!!! The best sausage rolls we have ever tried ( better than greggs!!!) reasonable prices. Staff were so kind!!! I will definetly have to return and will be a reccuring customer.
