La Poule Au Pot
Place is super lovely, I love both indoor with very pretty decoration and outdoor seat. Escargots for me is lower than my expectation, they are small and smell butter and garlic only, nothing special. I like onion soup, original taste. Staff is friendly. It looks comfortable but actually very inconvenient when dine in.

La Poule Au Pot
A traditional French restaurant where has been in London over 60 years. The food cooked to perfection and always quite busy

Cute little French restaurant very close to Victoria station. They have a nice outside area. The food was delicious and they have a good selection of dishes. Cocktails were not bad as well. The staff can be more helpful when you ask them for recommendations :) coffee was quite watery. However, I’d go back to sit indoors as it looked very cosy too.

Excellent French cuisine and service and the fried foie gras is a must try. However very tight seating with limited space and is somewhat dimly lit.

La Poule Au Pot
Nice French restaurant. Had a lunch here and all four of the table went for the set menu, which at £36.50 isn't the cheapest but still pretty good value, the only comment is that the menu doesn't describe the food very well, example is the chicken breast doesn't give any other description other than it's a chicken breast, however it comes with a strong tarragon sauce which wouldn't be to everyone's liking. Wine selection was good and not overpriced like some restaurants can be, and the majority of the food was delicious. The only negatives were that 2 of the 4 starters came first, then a five minute wait for the next (onion soup which surely should have been ready!) then the final starter several minutes later, meaning the people who got their starters first either ate the food whilst the other waited or wait and let the food sit there, despite this all of them were very good.3 of the mains were great however the calves liver was overcooked and dry, tasting only of the char-grill and not the liver, having no sauce made it almost inedible and we had to take some sauce from one of the other dishes to be able to eat it, definitely one to miss on the menu.Overall the service was good, typically French but friendly enough, the tables are quite packed together making it difficult to exit the table once the restaurant is busy.Would come back again despite the small issues as the most of the food was very good.

I reserved this venue to go over customer feedback, and I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity to celebrate my husband's birthday with a dinner here. The ambiance was wonderful, and every dish was not only delicious but also generously portioned. The entire staff was incredibly kind as well. There was just one aspect that gave us a slight pause - the wobbly table. It became especially noticeable when we needed to use a knife for the steak; we had to be cautious not to disturb the candles. The lighting was a tad dim, but it created a very pleasant atmosphere overall.

Food is delicious but the service was not great. Unless you are a regular and know the workers then you will get ignored. We waited 30 minutes for a pudding menu, eventually got one and a further 15 before giving up and asking for the bill. Waiter seemed shocked we didn’t want anything else but how can you expect people to wait 45 minutes to get served? We were sat right at the back so it was impossible to get someone’s attention.I’m sure for some this place never fails for them but in our case we would not recommend this place to anyone purely on the service.
