Lovely people taking good care of cats that need a new home. My partner and I picked up his first cat from here. They really do care about you and your cat. And provide good advice to those who've never looked after one. Would advise anyone to go here first than go to a breeder. The pictures with the red fleece cover is him settled at his new home.

I picked up Deliah a few years ago, the handover was stressfree for her.The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive. The pens are cleaned and full of toys, and anything the cats need. Its a good foster home until the cats find their forever home.

Had to re home one of cats because he likes getting into cats fights racking up the bills and having constant injury. Vets advised rehoming to a quiet area. Contact CP and there been great from start to Finnish. Made Somthing very hard a little easier

Friendly staff who are very dedicated to the welfare of the cats and kittens they have rescued. They will go in depth with detailing the right attributes their cats and kittens have to suit your needs without negatively affecting the animals welfare.Very well organised and very helpful. Thanks to these wonderful people we have a beautiful kitten who has helped enrich our lives.

Bredhurst Cats Protection is an excellent place to get advice, purchase items for your cat/kitten from their shop as well as adopt a new cat/kitten. Facilities for the cats are very good, with a recent update expanding their premises to house more cats. Staff are always on hand whether on the reception desk or near to the pens if you have any questions. They also frequently hold fundraising events which includes fairs. I have adopted 2 cats from them in recent years. Overall a great place to adopt, get advice or buy supplies from, knowing that it all goes towards looking after the facilities and their cats.

Lovely people. Sadly, we didn't adopt a cat as we were only donating items. Only point to note is that the phone number of the CP is to a central office who promised to ring us back". This never happened - twice

Had rescued a barn/stable cat, and needed to rehome him due to change in circumstance. He was a lovely, friendly, playful boy, who had damaged ears caused by fighting and infection as a barn cat. 2 different vets said he could not be operated on: one had even opened his ears, only to stop the operation as there was not enough skin to close. Explained all this to the CP - was told that he would be well looked after and that they would keep me updated on his adoption. Horrified to ring the next day after drop off and be told that the CP vet at Bredhurst was going to amputate his ears, leaving him deaf, whilst also removing 2 teeth at the same time. I reiterated that his ears should not be operated on, but treated with ointment, that he had adapted to them and could hear enough. The staff response was rude, to the point that I never rang back to find out if he survived the op, it was so distressing, and I never heard back from them either My rescue cat never appeared on the adoption site and I''m heart broken that he must have died needlessly on the table or shortly thereafter, or was put to sleep because they couldn't fix his ears. Awful place - will NEVER ever use or recommend them again to find a home for another stray/rescued cat. Even with his bad ears, he was a happy loving boy, he ate well, played well, and slept well....he had adapted to his disabilities as stray animals often do - I'm sure he'd have preferred to live with his problems than have a vet do what I was told they were going to do to him, or put him down. The people at the barn/stables where he was rescued from are all really angry and upset too...terrible.
