We had already had other kitchen designers round but none of them came up with an entirely satisfactory design. We then walked into Schmidt on impulse and immediately liked what we saw. The staff were really attentive and listened to what we wanted and liked. What's more they managed to solve a difficult design problem which has given us the extra storage space and work space we were after.Fitting took longer than expected and the fitting team kept changing which added to delays but the result is a lovely, functional kitchen which meets all our needs.We highly recommend Schmidt and Marielles team.

I suppose the least I could do to reward a fantastic service and product I received from Schmidt Bristol is to tell everybody how great they truly are!Before deciding which kitchen supplier we would choose, we went to 4 different suppliers in Bristol including Schmidt. Some brands are more well-known than Schmidt. To be honest, just by looking at the showrooms, it is very hard to make a decision. Just too many options and different names.What Schmidt stood out at first and won our heart was our designer Eleanor! She is just so good at what she does, and very obviously loves what she does too. Her taste, attention to detail and ability to understand customer needs are just top-notch! Every time, I stand in my new kitchen I am just really grateful to her! Everything works as she designed.Schmidt kept their standard really high throughout the process. Everyone working for them or with them are just fantastic, including Matt the installation manager overseeing the installation and meticulously doing the final adjustment post installation, Jack the fitter, the worktop guys, and even the rubbish collection in the end. It was such a smooth and pleasant process.Big thank you, Marielle for your team. We will definitely keep recommending you to our friends :)

Myself and my partner were looking for kitchen companies and came across Schmidt. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with elegant designs and beautifully crafted show kitchens and household units. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive, but not in a way that was pushy. We had just been to Kitchen Partners further down the road and left feeling very disappointed with what they had to offer and the coldness of one of their staff, so Schmidt was like a breath of fresh air!Eleanor visited our home a short while later and we told her what we wanted and the problems with our current and previous kitchens. She managed to come up with a design that was near perfect first time round and below our modest maximum budget, so there was plenty of room for leeway and any adjustments. We can’t fault her design or colour choices and felt that we had been listened to every step of the way. She also provided CAD plans and the opportunity to view our future kitchen space in 3D through a VR headset.We used a company (Oakfield Renovations) that Schmidt recommended to carry out our kitchen renovation (gas, electric, plumbing, carpentry) and Schmidt were with us every step of the way and regularly checked on progress. We’ve ended up with a bespoke kitchen far better and more beautiful than we ever imagined and it has already improved our quality of life! I still can’t believe how much unit storage and worktop space Eleanor managed to get into our room, without it feeling cramped. I can’t fault the team at Schmidt and highly recommend a visit to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen.

Had a full Kitchen design, including eight appliances - from start to finish the service and product were excellent. If you want quality then this is the place!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel I have to here.Sometimes you have to be careful when you see a string of 5 star reviews, but given my recent experience, I’m comfortable saying that the 5 stars you see (and which I added to), are totally justified.I am cost conscious. My first impression when I walked through Schmidt’s doors was that ‘these guys will be too expensive’. I spoke and compared quotes across 5 companies (yes 5). Were Schmidt the most expensive? No. Were they the cheapest? No, but the price difference was not large enough to tempt me to the inferior units other companies offer. I wanted my kitchen to look new years down the line, so I chose Schmidt.So they have a great product, but how do they treat their customers? The whole process takes a while, in my case over a year start to finish, so the relationship you build is important. The communication and customer service generally was impeccable, from: the initial design consultation, installation, through to after sales. Everyone I dealt with throughout this process (possibly all members of the team at one point or another!) were friendly and welcoming and of course knew their stuff.My experience dealing with Schmidt was everything I hoped it would be and more.Thank you Schmidt for having the patience to deal with a fussy customer like me. I’m very happy with the end product and the journey getting there.

We had our kitchen installed by Schmidt Bristol and the experience was brilliant from start to finish. With great advice, tips and ideas at the start of the process I felt it was a real partnership where the team at Schmidt really cared about getting me the best layout, finish and practicality - I needed this as I had not chosen a kitchen for over 15 years. The result, a beautiful and functional space that I love to cook in and where the family naturally congregates. Everyone who visits compliments the design and colour choice and I am thrilled with it.

The whole experience of our kitchen diner project from start to finish has been absolutely first class. Schmidt Bristol is a highly functioning team, with everyone able to help and advise you along the way, and the showroom is friendly and inviting. Marielle is an absolute star- so much more than a kitchen designer- she spent hours with us on our design ideas, patiently suggesting alternatives and always with a careful focus on the practical as well as the creative. Her advice was all-encompassing- we were encouraged to think about the dining area as much as the kitchen, which was really constructive. Nothing was too much trouble and every single aspect of the project was meticulously planned, with an impressive PowerPoint produced at the end with special notes for our builder, electrician and plumber which were really appreciated. The fitting of the kitchen by Jack and support from the installation manager Matt was exemplary and any minor technical issues were swiftly addressed. The communication process and timeline planning by Jessica has been easy and personal at all times. To everyone involved in the process, we are so pleased we chose Schmidt Bristol!

From an initial informal chat with Marielle through to completion, our experience with Schmidt Bristol has been excellent. Marielle had some excellent ideas to make our space work more effectively.The design process and installation was very smooth, with Schmidt working effectively with our tradespeople.We are left with a fantastic new space which the whole family loves.

Headline: We never thought that buying a new kitchen could be such a great experience.From our first visit with our jumble of ideas and no real idea of what could be achieved to the end result was such a positive journey.Our designer Chrissie listened carefully as we listed everything we wanted. She came up with a beautiful design with helpful suggestions and ideas before showing us what it would look like using the VR headset. This is so much more than a gimmick, you get to wander round the kitchen and experience what it will be like to live and cook in the space.We have a small area but it’s packed full of neat and practical storage solutions, attractive and high quality design and has become a beautiful room that the whole family loves to spend time in.Kitchen fitter Jack was great to work with too and has assembled a top team of fellas who all go the extra mile to make sure the finished product is top quality. Jack also created a utility space in our garage for us and it’s fair to say we enjoyed his company as much as the top quality workmanship he and his team supplied.Absolutely no hesitation in heartily recommending Schmidt Bristol. Lovely people doing a great job for what we considered to be a very fair price considering the quality of the units and the beautiful new kitchen that we have now. Thanks guys! We’ll be back.

I ordered my kitchen through SCHMIDT Bristol and I could not be happier. My kitchen truly looks fabulous and every member of the team I dealt with was fantastic.Eleanor was my Kitchen designer and she really helped bring my thoughts and vision to life.
