Very old aquarium shop, quaint little place phone for stock is advised

I tried calling last weekend and had no answer. I presumed that maybe the staff were busy with customer so no drama.Then to my astonishment the gentlemen who was working rang me back.Needless to say they staock what i need and will be deffo using the shop for my supplies.

Never open.. Opening times are wrong and when I enquire downstairs (as sign on door instructs) I'm met with attitude from lady in pet shop... Deffo will continue to use other stores until I find improvement or even commitment from owner. :-(

Been looking for a friendly and welcoming marine shop. Looked about for some marine fish locally but not much came close to the quality we found here.Spoke to the owner, who has experience of the hobby more than 50 years in the trade, and I have to admit, wasn't over selling unnecessary products like others can do.Some people have given a wrong review, simply call the shop and ask if its possible to view. The reason for this is he does deliveries and is a small but helpful shop owner, not a big store like others so the overheads are lower, and therefore the cost of staff isnt ramped up prices on the stock. Simples really, the other reviewers should of spent time speaking and getting to know this kind seller.So impressed we decided to buy more than we had originally intended, but wow, not one tank was dirty, or had white spot ich. Very impressive, probably because as he explained the fish he gets in are quarantined and fed quality food until ready for sale.Maybe not the biggest selection of fish and no corals, but the friendliest and most experienced gentlemen I've met yet, so were pleased to say, you have our future business from now on.
