GAIL's Bakery Knutsford
I ordered parsnip, walnut and pear soup which was nice. No spoon came and when I asked for a spoon they didn't seem very happy. It came with 2 small pieces of very stale bread so I asked the man if they could toast it. They said not and I asked for them to be replaced with fresh bread. He gave me 2 small stale pieces again. I then asked for butter, no knife was given. I then had to ask for it again which they were not happy with.Would not recommend.

Overrated to be honest. Considering the hype, Gail's really falls short. There were no sandwiches or soup left at 1pm (really??) and the service was poor - the woman serving had an attitude on her and I did not receive the level of service I would expect for the prices they charge. The food I did manage to get was adequate at best - I've had far better elsewhere, for less money. Won't be back to Gail's.

Not our first visit to Gails but certainly the friendliest. I was served by a lovely, friendly and patient server called Sim/Sym (apologies if that’s not spelt correctly) and purchased a sourdough, salmon bagel, sausage rolls and 4 cinnamon buns. The quality was excellent and you could tell they were fresh. The store was clean and had a good atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again.

Staff very friendly and efficient. Pastries good but disappointed with bread. Tables very close together so difficult to have undisturbed conversations. Expensive.

Had a coffee and cheese and ham bagel in the bright, modern and airey bakery. Also bought a couple of bakery items from the winter range, to take home. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We used to go to one in London, so we were very excited when we heard it was coming to Knutsford! Having been in twice already it has not disappointed and we will be a regular!

Great atmosphere and lovely service from everyone in the bakery!! Loved the Christmas bun I had, an excellent recommendation from Stella!!!
