Everything they make here is fantastic and clearly a product of people who care very much about every bottle. Absolutely should be among your first stops and even worth a trip to Edinburgh all on its own

Had a brilliant time at the tasting at Old Poison Distillery. Fantastic range of really high quality products, the gins, rums, aperitifs and elder were all delicious. Fabrizio was so friendly, knowledgeable, passionate and fun, it was an absolute pleasure spending an evening with him at the distillery. We bought two bottles of spirit (the Bitter Aperitivo and the Cold Brew Coffee Hina Rum) but will be on the lookout fir more. 10/10, would visit again.

Lovely friendly small business. Dedicated and honest. Great spirits and gift ideas. Eco packaging. Spot on customer service - like chatting to your good friend. If you are after unusual quality spirits that's a place to go.

We had a fabulous intimate tasting experience here today with the lovely Maria. She was welcoming and so knowledgable and made it fun and engaging. Loved hearing about this family run business and the history behind it so far. The gin and rum they produce is out of this world. It’s well worth a visit if you are in town.

This is a fantastic distillery to visit. They have an excellent range of Gins, rums and there own bespoke drinks which are a must have for any personal bar. It is clear all drinks are lovingly made to a high standard. My favourites are the classic Hina Rum (if you love El Dorado you will love this) The Vesuvius - there very own bespoke drink and the Selkie Old tom Gin - infused with Prosecco if you needed convincing.

Old Poison drinks are amazing. We first tried their twisted negroni which was absolutely delicious. The Old Poison Vermouth and Bitter are a big step above what you can get elsewhere. But by far our favourite is the Hina Rum Cold Brew, the combination of rum and cold brew are incredible.Overall Old Poison makes some of the best drinks in all of Edinburgh, would definitely recommend trying some of them.

Had a tour of Old Poison Gin Distillery with the owner and mixologist Fabrizio Cioffi who was a wonderful host! His knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious and we enjoyed a very fast couple of hours in his company. We bought some of his wares, gin and Vermouth and look forward to having them at home. Would not hesitate to recommend this most informative and exciting boutique, unique distillery!

Really fantastic drinks and discussion about the distillery. Got to try the whole range - from the gins to the rums, as well as the aperitifs. All fantastic spirits that I would happily enjoy at home or in a bar, even more so after doing the tour. Can't wait to try my next one. I've got some of the cold brew coffee rum at home I look forward to having!
