Rowlands Pharmacy Millstream

Consistently the very worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to deal with in over twenty years of requiring tablets. Yet again given entirely the wrong medication by staff who are rude and dismissive. Never once has their administration been timely; taking 7-10 days to action a prescription request from the surgery NEXT DOOR. Each and every staff member needs training on dealing with CUSTOMERS, which is a fact frequently disregarded by this abominable outlet. I'll be taking my business elsewhere henceforth.

Absolute shambles. 1st complaint from months ago: Not up to date on breastfeeding. Recent complaint: Coming at 13.30, they can't give me my prescription as the pharmacist is on lunch. Fair enough... although that is weird. Then pretended to my partner at 4pm that same day that I picked it up a week ago?? The owner is rude, so so rude. To customers and his own staff. NEVER GO THERE.

Some staff is really on the ball but we have had quite a few medication mix-ups of not all medication that was prescribed is in the bag that was sealed meaning having to go back and insisting we have not had XYZ in the bag. It's tiring and time-consuming

I have nothing but praise for the pharmacy. I get my repeat scripts on time with no missing items.I get SMS messages from them when they are ready and phone calls from Andy the pharmacist when I have new medicines to ask if they are suitable for me or giving side effects.A please and thank you doesn't cost anything and goes a long way. There is no need to criticize the pharmacy that has been open and there for us all through these ghastly days when the majority of us were sat on our backsides.

Terrible customer service. For a moment I thought I was in communist Russia. sweet FA out of 10 for customer service. 10 out of 10 for Rude, obnoxious and terrible customer service . Always wonder why I go back, perhaps a change is required..

Suddenly, really bad service. I am housebound after a hip operation and have to ask a friend to collect my medication which the surgery said was obtainable. Three different days he asked for the medication and was turned away. Querying the surgery, all of a sudden it seems a barcode is needed. Barcode given to my friend, who, eventually obtained, now after five days, the medication. I feel helpless and very depressed about future transactions while housebound. Please, Rowlands, look after your customers with a little more kindness.

Can I collect my prescription please?" (sent from surgery electronically) - there follows muttering in the background and scuffling - Reply "When was it sent?" I consult my app "At 11.38am yesterday". Reply - " Oh

I'm confused as to why I was charged the usual prescription rate of £9.35 for a contraceptive pill. I've since collected the same product at a different pharmacy and the pharmacist said contraception is free.

I have been using Rowlands medical practice pharmacy for many years since it been open. I have always had positive experience with the chemist and would never use any other pharmacy. I collect my medication weekly and all the staff have been polite considerate. They learn your name very quickly. I seen staff come and go but not one member of staff have ever been rude. They know what medication I have. They always go out there way to talk to you ask you if you have any concerns with any medication. I recently had a problem with my prescription due to doctors they could see how much it was affecting me because I ended up crying, danni and another member of staff went round to my doctors to speak to them because they weren't listening to me. And true to there word they sorted it out for me.They all work very hard even when some people are not happy because of one thing after another. I have a lot of respect for them all. They deserve alot if respect. They all deserve to be awarded with praise. Thank you so much for your hard work day in day out.

Echoing previous posters, I would say that Rowlands tends to treat its service users as naughty schoolchildren to be reprimanded, rather than valued customers. An arrogant and patronising attitude prevails, which the Coronavirus restrictions seem to have exacerbated.I quite by chance followed the one in, one out policy, (of the many leaflets plastered on the door, this instruction is absent) only to be told off as I was now contravening the equally invisible 'only 2 at a time' policy. Logically there must have been 3 people in when I replaced the 1 who came out!Once allowed in, I suggested it might be helpful to have a visible instruction on the door. A 5ft high cardboard notice was pointed out to me, but my argument that it is inside the shop and facing away from the entrance, rendering it useless, fell on deaf ears.
