I nearly gave up hope after trying to book online - couldn't get an answer on the phone and slow reply via website/email.BUT I walked down there, 15 minute walk from centre of town. Spoke to the girl who was friendly and helpful & managed to get us booked in a small Aygo for the week, picking up a few hours later. Price was better than any larger company I'd researched (Bristol, Airport, Bath, Weston), even with insurance. Car was new and served us well to Scotland and back, averaged about £40 each time we refilled - was very cheap to run! Dropped off out of hours and dropped the keys through. Once I'd popped in it was seamless and uncomplicated. Allowed me to see my family for the first time in a year and a half so I'm very grateful. Happy we were able to support a local company too.

We rented a gorgeous, huge, van from here and it was absolutely brilliant, no problems when we needed a few more days. The van was prepped properly and had obviously been well maintained. Definitely hire from them again.

Be awereAfter spending a great day out with friends it was totally spoilt 10 days later to find that the £100 deposit we had put on the vehicle we hired was not going to be returned because of alleged damage we had done to one of the wheels which we dispute. They did not contact us to tell us of this and it took numerous phone calls to them to find out where our money was. We were not offered any proof of the damage like a photograph as we returned it late at night by agreement so it could have been caused any time in the 10 days leading up to our call or if at all.If you are going to use this company buy a camera and use it.We wont ever use them again.

I’m planning on hiring a car over a long period with KNW. I initially had a lot of detailed questions and Becky was only too happy to help. I felt valued as a potential customer and will definitely be hiring from them. I also spoke to Kevin briefly last week and he was also helpful. I work and live in Wells and it’s great to find local businesses like this.

I have bought 2 vans from KNW. Very good but a bit more expensive than other dealers. They did replace 3 exhaust censors free of charge as it was under warranty.

I hired a van for a day. The rates were good & I didn't have to leave Wells to collect it. It was a new van with only 8K miles so it was quiet, comfortable, & efficient. The pick up was very quick & painless. Drop off was as simple as parking up & dropping the keys as out of hours. I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

I hired a 9 seat minibus from knw the bus was clean and well maintained the staff were also helpful and friendly I will happily use them again next time I need to hire a vehicle

A mixed experience: hired a nice new van and Kevin, the owner, is friendly and helpful. But, having checked the van fairly carefully when I picked it up and driven it attentively during my day trip, I was AMAZED when further damage was found on dropping it off, whilst I was still on the premises. This cost me £420 out of the £500 insurance excess. I'd much rather pay a little bit more for the hire and get 100% insurance cover but, if this option is available, I wasn't made aware of it.
