Fabulous lunch at Lady of the Grapes! We tried a number of their wines and were really well looked after by the charming, knowledgeable Sam. The wines by the glass were superb and we tried a number of new things including pet nat, an extraordinary orange Falanghina and deeeeelicious Austrian reds. And a fab Cab Franc! Really cute, atmospheric restaurant too with tasty food.

Incredible atmosphere & feel to the place - exactly how a wine bar should be.Food is absolutely delicious. The girolles with egg yolk & bread selection were favourites.Enjoyed the wines we had, though it would be good to offer more by the glass.I loved it but doesn’t come cheap.

i’m glad we found this wine bar on my first night in London, because we made sure to visit another time before the end of my short trip. the natural wine selection was great, and the place felt quaint and lively. special thanks to Monique, who helped make our nights ones to remember for a long time! will be definitively looking forward to revisiting this little nook whenever in town.

The most delicious French cuisine in London. Top shelf wines.

While I’m not a massive wine connoisseur, I had a lovely time at this little bar. I must say all the food and drink really is on the pricier side, but the atmosphere is nice and I enjoyed the absolute best salad ever (prosciutto and fresh burrata). Would recommend to people with a more allowing budget.

My friends and I bookended our very short London trip by visiting this wine bar. We came here a couple hours before closing and met one of the soms named Monique. She gave detailed recommendations based on our wine preferences. We like traditional over natural wine but there are plenty of different options and regions to choose from. We loved the wine and small plate pairings she recommended so much we had to come back on the last day to try her other recs!

Lady of the Grapes is a must-go wine bar in the heart of London! The wine list is fantastic and the ambience is perfect. But in addition to this, what makes it even better is one of the sommeliers named Monique! She was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wines. When we told her our usual wine preferences, she didn’t hesitate and recommended us the perfect wines! All of the wines she recommended couldn’t have been better. I don’t think we would have had the same experience if it weren’t for Monique. Look for Lady of the Grapes and Monique on your next London Trip!

I've never been disappointed here. We've been here four times on different days, times, and both indoor/outdoor. The best time was on Valentines day for their set menu! Scroll to the bottom of my review for it.Our first time was after watching a musical nearby. We were hungry after the show, and wanted to find a nice place for a snack. We stumbled upon Lady of the Grapes and they luckily had a nice table available for us along the brick wall. Their interiors are a cozy wine bar with exposed brick. The low lighting makes the ambience intimate and a great date spot. We got several wines and a cheese plate - all amazing. Our second time was on the patio for a light meal. We got the cheese plate again and a tasting flight of wine. I loved how they gave us a map of where the wines came from! The only downside of sitting outside during the day was that there were multiple people coming up to us asking for money (not part of the restaurant and certainly not the restaurant's fault). While sitting outside is lovely, just be aware! Our third time was for a light drink/snack before dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a nice spot at the bar. Even though they were high top seats, they were just as comfortable as the normal seating and we got great views of their wine bottle collection and the wall of wine offerings. We got two red wines and the anchovies. I never thought anchovies, butter, and toasted bread could taste so good.------Our fourth time on Valentine's Day was the best yet! We got a table in the corner, so it was much more private than almost all the other indoor tables. The other indoor tables are very close to each other (only a few inches away). They had a 5 course set menu with options to add caviar, cheese, champagne, and a wine pairing. We went with the cheese and wine pairing, but it seemed like they gave us the champagne anyways! The pairings were all great and diverse. We did get some French wines, but also got to try Greek wine. Food wise, I was surprised how vegetable heavy it was, and was nicely surprised that they were all spectacular. As a mainly meat and fish eater, the vegetables were some of the best. I can't recommend this place more. Can't wait to come back a 5th time ☺️

After being recommended by my daughter, I decided to visit with my friend - What an amazing place. On a rainy Saturday night this was an oasis of wonderful wine and food. Our waiter Sam was so attentive and helped us navigate through the wine menu and his recommendations were well received. The place was very busy but despite that, Sam still made our visit unique. Heartily recommend and will definitely will go again.
