Robert Burns Statue
This statue is a tribute to Robert Burns. It's nice to see a tribute in England to Scotland's National Poet.The statue itself is of a larger than life seated Burns, looking handsome and staring outwards as if pondering his next beautiful verse. A fine tribute to the man. The statue is located inside Victoria Embankment Gardens, only 2 minutes walk from Embankment station. Worth a detour if in the area.

A nice statue in tribute to the poet Robert Burns. The park is a nicr quiet little spot to have a sit down during the day. Close to the thames and central attractions.

The seated figure of Robert Burns was presented to London by John Gordon Crawford, & unveiled by Lord Rosebery on July 26th, 1884.The inscription reads...The poetic genius of my country found me at theplough - and threw her inspiring mantle over me shebade me sing she loves
